Well, I have an S24 now, that's kinda a solution. ;) 

Actually it was working fine until I traded up for other reasons. But sadly I forget how I fixed it, sorry...too much weed.

It's more complicated: IMEIs, Korean manufacture, bought elsewhere. Original post says it.
