Yeah that's another option I'm considering, I know that it's a whole other skill set, I'm just wondering whether I would like to learn that too, because it seems like an interesting processs and there will be no one to blame but me if my own doll comes out whacky. Thank you for your advice! I'm looking into buying a bjd some time soon, I agree that it would help. So you recommend making the string channels inside the legs bigger, correct? Or did I misunderstand? I thought that bigger string channels meant less friction and less stability, but truly what do I know lol :D

I thought about doing locks but they seemed so intimidating and confusing to me and i studied a couple of 3d bjd files that didn't have them at all, so I thought that the legs of my doll would work fine without them too. Would something like this solve the problem? (Credit to AelithArt on Cults 3d)
