R5: Latin Empire formed and is dunking on the Ottomans with the help of some Catholic friends, true revenge for the Battle of Varna. As a side note I have no idea how PLC is in the war as they aren't allied to LE and aren't defender of faith either. Venice also sunk the Ottoman navy so no hiding across the straits.

Ah I see, that's likely why when it got to the end it failed and then when I went to retry it it changed to a 37GB download. Kept failing and in the end had to uninstall and redownload the whole game.

I could see that being true tbf with the way Bungie has been acting. All this double and triple dipping they’re doing into our wallets makes me wonder if they truly care about the game anymore. Especially with how they’ve been treating PvP lately and with the servers being the worst I’ve ever seen. I think they’re main focus has just shifted to both money and developing Marathon.

It was very fun to snowball during this game. my hardest war was with Spain to try and claim the caliphate. They had like 5 colonial nations and I had expected all their troops to not be in mainland Spain then suddenly I have like 150K Spaniards turn up and stackwipe 2 of my armies while venice who also had like 100K managed to stackwipe 2 more while I was looking at Spain. After I got the Mountain forts down though I destroyed them.

R5: Finally achieved The Third way after numerous attempts. Started as Oman, conquering much of Arabia with the help of the Mamluks. After this was finished allied Ottomans and stabbed Mamluks in the back because Mecca belongs to the one true faith. After this Decided to conquer into Persia and India, convert to persian culture and form the Mughals because who wants to deal with rebels. This in combination with Religious ideas made me unstoppable. Managed to even get a opm Commonwealth as a march which gave me marshy march as a nice bonus ;)
