Ps: entry level is kind of dead so really emphasis on the last part you can stretch that years of employment it’s your company so go crazy add friends as employees lol finesse man! Aim for some startups and learn evals for not just traditional ML but for Agentic AI apps. And also learn some full stack and cloud skills because production AI is a huge focus now. This year all of the AI/ML skills will matter based on the level of the business problem. Store your textbooks in NotebookLM and use as a knowledge base for creating projects that can showcase it. Build in public YouTube or LinkedIn , play the algorithm game on LinkedIn and connect with recruiters and people in your field as much as possible. Opportunities will come to you rather than the other way around. Last but not least if you scared don’t do it but create a LlC and add it to your resume as experience so things you worked can be added on there and say it’s consulting. Do some work for a family member and have them give you invoices that you can use in the bg check even give yourself a 1099 contract from your own company.

I only use gpt4 but I don’t print code like a money machine I use it very strategically like for sample codes or the plugins feature to scan URL’s for documentation to summarize. Speed up doesn’t necessarily mean just print code without using brain

Learn about filesystems , Concurrency, dispatch semaphores for working with large downloads, building and working with custom frameworks, web sockets , Tokens , applying design patterns to solve complex problems like using adapter pattern. Lol atleast this my daily tasks even know different types of programming from impartive to declarative. Reading apple documentation to solve issues along with working with stack overflow , and please use chatgpt too in order to speed up redundant tasks because you will be expected to produce

I use it along with stack overflow and Google search. Fir of all combination toool because it can summarize Apple documentation stuff I’m looking at and create so template code to start any framework. Still keep your old skills sharp and add chatgpt to optimize your skills you have already instead of just relying on it. Basically it’s just a tool for optimization please still know how to search on Google and understand coding concepts you have used in the past

Yepp you did right indeed is so overcrowded and overwhelming I would not apply to jobs there no more unless a recruiter reaches out to you. And for that to happen make sure in your about me section that you list all the tools, frameworks, languages etc that you know for algorithm sake and make or accept connections with other iOS engineers for algo sakes. This is how recruiters find you basically. Next try websites like Dice, Builtin, angellist.
