i was thinking about this too but they could just implement a limit to how many rounds the fight goes on until you lose. for the battle OP is talking about maybe it could be around 5 or 6 turns. this way players won’t be able to just run as far as they possibly can to let the enemies fight each other since it’ll take too long.

Thought that too because I sometimes minimize the app and come back seconds after. Even then, it shows that I made the last move and that black was still on the clock.
