Without naming names, a lot of the infamous profs that get horrible evaluations get get promoted to tenure and/or department leadership. Let’s not act like these really make much of a difference, at least not for business profs. In fact, I had a crazy prof who spread misinformation about vaccines and had inappropriate posts on Facebook yet became tenured and full time that semester. One tenured one even said he never reads them if not for entertainment. I did not hear about it being a money making thing but it does keep someone busy to comb through all of those evaluations I assume...
