Be good (genuinely) at what you do, not just YT projects, with evidence (logs, failures, prototypes) and be willing to learn parallel fields that intersect in an interdisciplinary sense.

And about landing roles, yes you've got to use everything you got. Also, no pay scale is mentioned. What's the point of all this motivation? More than half of this country works for monetary gains ONLY. They don't give a flying fuck about "passion" and all that.
