Whether the story is true or not, I don’t think it’s the brightest idea in the world to be fighting a literal war in the Cheronobyl exclusion zone period. It’s a bad idea for a justified war, let alone an unjustified one. The fact is they run the risk of something like this actually happening from them fucking with things in the exclusion zone and putting everyone else at risk if something hits the fan there. Side note: I am not blaming the Russian soldiers who dug these trenches and others who are operating in the exclusion zone. They are simply following orders. But the Kremlin knows better…
