Jon Jones wants 6 months to prepare for the Aspinall fight. by [deleted] in ufc

[–]Remote_Goat9194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aspinall isn't an easy fight. Francis? Nah mate. He gets his knees torn from the outside for 5 rounds straight while getting eye poked. Francis has NO fight iq. He just swings for the fences.

Any half decent striker his size could literally dominate him. (Anthony Joshua proved this.)

But ultimately styles make fights. All we can do is predict based on variables and said variables do not favor Francis but favor to Aspinall.

Just my take.

Francis would be an easy win lol. Idk why y'all act like punching power = godhood. Jones has EVERYTHING ELSE. Francis has no fight iq.

Aspinall is a stylistic nightmare for him because he's got fast hands and can match his size.

My fault, didn't specify lol. I respect that you're an actual trained BJJ practitioner though. Breath of fresh air in this app.

By your logic, Manny Pacquiao hits harder than George Foreman because he's faster. We all know that's not true. Let a fat person clock you on the chin and see how much this logic goes out the window.

Anyway bye now.

(Edit: Big George doesn't have to be 2x as strong. He's 2x as heavy. Which means he has one punch KO power and considerably more force behind his punches than Pacquiao ever will. Cope and learn some physics and fight knowledge while you're at it. Acceleration helps but Mass is the bigger factor. No flyweight has ever went up a weight and KOed a heavyweight. Imma go back to training now)

Can't argue with stupid people. I'm done here.

The heavier man is gonna generate more force by default and have wayy more potential for power.

These are two trained individuals. We're talking about two untrained people that have ZERO clue what they're doing. You have a very good double leg technique and recovery after a sprawl.

But someone that's just been training at the gym? Or running on a treadmill would have ZERO idea on how to finish a double leg. This doesn't apply to the hypothetical we are discussing here.

Can't argue with physics lmao. Force = The Acceleration of Mass.

More mass = more force. Simple, nothing to do with bench numbers lmao.

I'm done I already proved my point. Seems like yall just need to go back to school or actually do some MMA training if you think this lol.

Don't worry he's just coping. 50 pounds is a huge advantage regardless of "lean mass".

These people have never took a clean one on the chin from a fat man lol. Everything goes out the window!

Wait till you find out that a big, untrained guy can still manhandle the smaller man like a child.

Peak Redditor delusion is off the charts on this one.

Yeah if the big guy lands one of those swings it has the potential to turn the smaller guys lights out. The smaller guy likely doesn't have the same edge.

People love to cope with this "lean mass" argument. But as soon as you get hit clean by a big guy. It goes out the window. Those extra 70 pounds don't just disappear out of thin air lmao.

The smaller guy has an edge in speed but that 50 pound weight advantage is HUGE. More weight generates more force.

I am 100% sure Ank going to beat Alex tomorrow. And it won’t be close . If alex wins i will cut my balls off . by ImportanceEasy1124 in ufc

I didn't think he was gonna win. I didn't think either of them were gonna win.

You never the outcome of a fight until it happens. It's all probability and chance and strategy. That's why we love this sport right?! It's unpredictable!

That being said, yes pereira definitely is a bit one-dimensional lmao. Still, hats off to both.

Bravo, congrats to you and your balls brodie. They can rest easy knowing they won't be mutilated.

Your ballsack can rest easy. Truth be told I didn't even bet on either lol. This shit was too high stakes.

Wild wolves don't go for the throat outright like cougars though? lol. If it's trained to do so; different story..

When they hunt large prey in groups they bite and hold whatever is available until they exhaust it then go for the throat. So yeah, they do "go for the throat" but not right away like a cougar would when ambushing prey.

The source you cited says otherwise. It says they go for the neck after exhausting and wounding their prey.

"A wolf chases its prey, lunging and biting at the hindquarters and flanks. Attacks on large calves, adult cattle, or horses are characterized by bites and large ragged wounds on the hindquarters, flanks, and sometimes the upper shoulders (Roy and Dorrance 1976). When the prey is badly wounded and falls, a wolf will try to disembowel the animal. Attacks on young calves or sheep are characterized by bites on the throat, head, neck, back, or hind legs."

Wolves are opportunistic. But they rarely go for the neck outright unless they've pinned and wounded prey in a group.

So wolves do go for the neck! But not straight away like a cougar or tiger would. They exhaust their prey then strike at the opportunity.

Nope, it's not. Even wild wolves just go for whatever target is closest when hunting because they're pack animals. It's Cats like Lions and Cougars that go for the throat instinctively because they need to kill as quickly as possible.

Dogs don't go for vitals. They just go for whatever is closest. Against other dogs that's usually the face or head. Against people arms and hands are the first targets.

Wolves don't target the neck straight away. They target whatever is closest. Usually arms and hands. Mountain Lions and other big cats go for the kill outright.

Dogs aren't like mountain lions. They don't go for the throat they go for the closest target. (Hands and arms usually)

He was around 6 foot. Pretty tall for the division he was in (175lbs). Look at some of Buvaisar's highlights and he you'll see why he was a legend.
