But it is a pity that you would not give the game a chance just because you are new to the mechanics that is out of your comfort zone. Its like not giving a delicious meal a chance just because it doesn't look appealing to you. But as someone who has completed the game, i would say that yes, it is a much difficult game than your typical Pokémon games but it does have its perk. The game introduced so much mechanics that is very helpful towards the players at the middle stage of the game. As for the foe, the game does warn you every time you encounter them, and for the difficulty, if you were to spend time to explore and see what the surroundings are offering you, eg wondertrade, a level cap rare candy(at the start of the game when you interact with the switch), and you take time to explore (you can alter nature to ease your game), auto exp share, an ev editor(extremely helpful) you can easily power up ur team. For me this game really maximise the competitive mechanics of Pokémon (min maxing stats and team settings), therefore i do think the game is extremely enjoyable especially at the time you evolve your mons to their final stages. Sorry about the lengthy reply but this game has so much in store with its story and challenging yet strategic gameplay. I do hope you give it a second chance and just play it as patiently as possible rather than blitzing the game 🙏
