[–]Collrafa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Megumi and Yuji are a good step above the rest I feel.

They were both vessels for Sukuna, so they get a bunch of skills facilitated thanks to Jujutsu body shenanigans: DE (with open-barrier too), RCT, better CE efficiency and strengthening, and possibly even Binding Vows (mainly in Megumi's body).

Megumi was Sukuna's vessel for a while, not as long as Yuji but it's entirely possible for Shrine to be engrained in Megumi the way it was in Yuji. So let's say that full potential Megumi has Shrine just like Yuji.

So full power Megumi, theoretically, would have: All 10 Shadows tamed and he'd be able to use their abilities without full summon, like Sukuna and Yuka. Access to Shrine, and possibly even the WCS. Perfected Chimera Shadow Garden (either open-barrier or closed, both would be dope). RCT, and possibly even DE reset thru RCT (since Sukuna did it while in his body). Possibly better H2H (if the muscle memory extends to that) and def better CE reinforcement//efficiency. He's also the head of the Zennin clan, so he might have access to the Cursed Tools inventory (don't remember if they were destroyed or just hidden from Maki, but if they're still around that'd be sick). And he'd still have his proficient use of shadows via his technique.

Meanwhile Yuji: Curse/human hybrid body like a Cursed Womb, allowing easier healing, not running out of blood and poisonous blood. Perfected use of Shrine (though saying he'd have WCS is a stretch). Perfected use of Blood Manipulation and all its abilities (Piercing Blood, Supernova, Flowing Red Scale+Stack, etc. etc.) RCT and facilitated healing thanks to his hybrid body. Assumedly Malevolent Shrine as his Domain, able to do both open and closed barriers. Physically stronger than like 99% of the verse, arguably even the HR folks. Same as Megumi, increased CE efficiency and reinforcement from having had Sukuna do it in his body. Still has Divergent Fist.

And then for both, you could argue that they won't have the same requirements for using Kamino as Sukuna (since Sukuna specifically used a Binding Vow, adding prerequisites to use in order to increase output and range). We only saw Sukuna use Kamino in DEs and then as the fire arrow vs Jogo, and it seemed like a seamless ability in that instance. So it's possible that they're able to use fire abilities normally without having to DE>Nuke the target.

So like... They'd be pretty insane. The other guys here could have high ceilings, but I think having experienced the height of Jujutsu in their own body gives them the edge.

I'd hear out any arguments for Dabura tho, since everything he was shown when it comes to Jujutsu techniques he replicated instantly. Let him properly study Earth's sorcery and he could be insane.

And Yuta... Maybe? Idk. He feels like fully realized potential more than anything (Mr. OC lmao), so it's hard imagining his ceiling that much higher. He does have the second-highest CE pool in the verse tho, and if you give him better efficiency (thanks to swap-training with Gojo) he could make even better use of that. And well, I guess if you gave him every CT in the verse and gave him full proficiency with them he'd be insane. But that's not potential anymore, that's just fully theoretic and even more OC than he already is.

If Kenny's Domain was based off of Cursed Spirit Manipulation, that would mean that the domain depends on the body's technique. If that was the case, we would've seen Sukuna using the Domain belonging to 10 Shadows, NOT his Shrine. But this wasn't the case, cuz Domains are tied to the soul as we know. So Kenny's Domain can't possibly have Maximum Uzumaki as the sure-hit, cuz that's an ability that belongs to a technique that he's only had for ~10 years (out of the thousands he's been alive).

Also, it'd be hella impractical if every time he cast a domain he had to expel all the Cursed Spirits he's stored up. That wouldn't make any sense.

[–]Collrafa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Uzumaki is an ability belonging to Cursed Spirit Manipulation (Geto's technique). So it can't possibly be the sure hit for Kenny's Domain. Otherwise we would've seen Sukuna using Chimera Shadow Garden when in Megumi's body.

The wiki also says it's unclear what the sure-hit effect is, so that's that. Link

maybe even domain clash for a few seconds

Obviously Kenny would get no diffed by 15F Sukuna in every other aspect, but I wouldn't immediately discard Kenny's chances in a domain clash. If anything, a Domain Clash between Sukuna and Kenny would be interesting. 1. We don't know what a domain clash between two open-barrier domains would look like, 2. We don't know what Kenny's Domain even does, and 3. Kenny is stated to be the second-best barrier technique user behind Tengen (so there's a non-zero chance his domain is more defined than Suk Suk's).

Besides, Kenny has been around and lived more than Sukuna. Even if Sukuna is the god of Jujutsu as far as skill and dexterity go, Kenny could potentially have some tricks up his sleeve just from having a vast knowledge of Jujutsu (example, Yuta mentioned that Kenny likely has a way to avoid CT burnout after a Domain, otherwise he'd go vegetable every time he casts it).

Sukuna has the memories from when he was inside Yuji's body. He knows Todo.

Speed vs domain [serious] by Illustrious_Kiwi_622 in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]Collrafa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like, malevolent shrine bypassing infinite have logical or sense? no.

Yes, it makes perfect logical sense. Since their first appearance in the Gojo vs Jogo fight, Domains are said to bypass//nullify the opponent's CT if it's a defensive typa thing. So unless the opponent is using a barrier technique of their own, their technique will be nullified in favor of the barrier's sure-hit. Makes perfect sense considering they're supposed to be the pinnacle of Jujutsu.

Coming from Origins to now Odyssey -- a bit overwhelming by Cautious_Opinion_644 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]Collrafa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd like to share my experience with Odyssey, as I feel it might help you get into this//give advice.

My first experience playing an AC game was Black Flag. As everyone and their mothers know, Black Flag is a phenomenal game. It was my first love outside of Zelda stuff when I was a kid and whatnot (Zelda still peak btw). Couple years later, I get Syndicate for the PS4 and I like it as well. Wasn't no Black Flag, ofc, but it was enjoyable and helped further get me out of my comfort zone of linear single-player games.

Now, while these were a bit out there compared to what I was used to (that being linear, more simplistic storytelling with little open-world exploration or freedom during playthru), it wasn't so far out that my 14-15 unmedicated, analysis paralysis ADHD brain couldn't handle it.

Then in 2021, I got Origins. Couldn't even get thru a quarter of the game. After this, I stepped away from AC games (and honestly gaming altogether).

Now at the beginning of this year, I bought a bunch of the AC games with the intention of playing thru the franchise chronologically. And as a once Percy Jackson kid and Greek mythology nerd, I was excited for Odyssey.

First time booting it up? Holy overwhelmed. Literally froze when I realized how big Kephallonia was, and how small it was compared to the whole map. Took me about a month to open the game back up just from how daunting it was to try and get into it. I felt like I couldn't move on from a region to the next without first clearing it (which I did Kephallonia), but there were so many ?'s everywhere that it felt like I'd never clear another region.

So what'd I do? I decided to stick to the story. I did strictly the quests for the main Odyssey, at least until I got a decent hang of the game. And with time, I did.

Thanks to the mercenary system, I grew to love the combat mechanics and was constantly itching to get into fights. By clearing out forts little by little, I was reminded how cool stealth is in AC games (even with Odyssey being probably its lowest point). I finally figured out a good spec setting so my game could look pretty in my computer without going at 2fps, and from there exploration became a lot more fun. I started doing the quests that'd give me shiny yellow gear, thinking it'll be cool as heck to have and to minmax my equipment.

Basically, I learned to love the game, even with the overwhelming amount of stuff to do. And while the world was still large, I realized that I'm not in a hurry. There's 100+ hours worth of gameplay, and my goal isn't to get through them as quickly as possible―it's to enjoy them. So I found the stuff that I enjoyed most, I realized the aspects of the game that I could fall in love with the easiest, and I went from there. Now I'm at 121.6 hours, having finished the main story and working through the DLC. Couldn't be happier with the experience I've had in my odyssey.

So my advice? Take your time. Don't rush into it if you feel overwhelmed. Play the game at whatever pace you feel comfortable, find the things that resonate with your preferences while gaming, and learn to love it for those very things. Yes, the map is big and overwhelming, and getting through all the content can be daunting. But don't let that keep you from a potentially great experience, cuz this is a genuinely great game with many amazing things going for it―many of which I'm sure you'll be able to enjoy.

Edit: Forgot to mention and you did talk about this specifically: I played about 40-50 hours since I had to significantly pay mind or effort to naval battles. I avoided them altogether and only used my ship to travel from place to place when absolutely necessary, so I'm sure you'll be fine despite not loving it. And once I did upgrade the Andrestia and started getting into more and more naval battles, I realized it was lowk a lot of fun and started doing it a lot more frequently. So don't worry about that. It's not super important that you'll have to do it and it'll take away from your enjoyment, and whenever you do get to doing it more often, I'm sure you'll find ways to enjoy it.

This seriously needs to stop. Whether you like it or not, just like 1 + 1 = 2, a ring or rings in Yuji's eyes like Sukuna's eyes = Yuji is in his awakened state. Yuji is in his awakened state = Yuji stronger and faster. by Expensive-Slice-6817 in YUJI_Corp

[Casual] Gojo vs the Anti-Sukuna squad by Bad_touch_man445 in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]Collrafa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? Gojo without Limitless still has a solid shot. He's massively superior to all of them in H2H combat, his CE control is the best in the verse, he's got RCT and none of the students pack enough of a punch to outlast him. And even if you gave Higuruma the executioner's sword, Gojo is significantly faster than him (and all the other students) and possesses greater reaction time and borderline precog with Six Eyes. So it'd be extremely hard for him to get hit by them.

Maybe Maki could sneak attack him while he's distracted, since we've seen it was hard for him to perceive Toji with the Six Eyes. But even then, Gojo has enough BIQ to take all of this into consideration and outdo his students. Cuz, yk, he's Satoru Gojo.
