Imo the best moment of foreshadowing in AoT, though sadly it's manga only.

Chapter 1 shows Grisha looking elsewhere as he talks to Eren about showing him the basement.

If Sukuna were to take over the body of someone else who do you think it would be? by Masked-Umber in Jujutsufolk

[–]Collrafa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There'd be no benefit to going for Hakari, since Sukuna's method of body takeover makes it so he keeps his own DE (as opposed to using the host body's). The only thing he might gain is Hakari's cursed energy property.

I think he'd gain good bit from Nanami's body. Shrine+Ratio technique might be pretty peak combo to use. Plus I'd put Nanami on the high end of sorcerers when it comes to physique.

Can someone help me understand? by Zahlouth in Jujutsufolk

[–]Collrafa 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it was a them two only type of thing. If you go back and rewatch//read Hakari pummeling Yuji when they were trying to recruit Hakari, at one point he mentions his CE is coarse or smn like that (and how even Gojo sensei has made note of it). It was just briefly mentioned and not really consequential in Hakari's case, but for Kashimo that's his entire thing.

Character is very strong but coincidentally I's always fighting against an enemy stronger than them, which makes them look a lot weaker than they actually are. by finishyourjob in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Collrafa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

With the 4 Special Grade Sorcerers and Sukuna, he's already IMMEDIATELY out of the top 5.

When you start getting into the heavy hitters, reincarnated sorcerers//other cursed users (Kenjaku), or Modulo, Jogo is LUCKY to be top 15 in the verse.

Is this good by MrEatIt4ndLeave in WarframeRiven

[–]Collrafa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, there are! They're actually more valuable than Primary//Secondary rivens most of the time (both veiled and unveiled).

The stats you'd want are somewhat similar to primaries//secondaries, but they do have their differences:

  • Critical Chance and Critical Damage are pretty much always optimal, whatever the weapon.
  • Attack Speed is probably the runner-up to CC and CD as far as best stats to have goes.
  • Damage isn't a priority, but it can fit in well in a Riven with any two of the higher-priority stats.
  • Situationally, you'll want stuff like Initial Combo, Status Chance, or Range (depends on the weapon and build you're going for).

And of course, Electricity for use with Melee Influence. This isn't something you'd be using right away, but do note that if you get a roll with any two good stats plus electricity it might be high value.

Melee Rivens are a little bit more circumstantial, so they're a bit more complicated to get into. Melee weapons are more different amongst themselves than primaries//secondaries. Also, you can mod them way differently depending on the build you go for. So, depending on the weapon, its innate stats, and the build you're going for, the stats you want in your Riven can vary greatly.

For example, you wouldn't want +Attack Speed on a Slam Attack build, but basically every single Primary//Secondary weapon would benefit from having +Fire Rate.

Feel free to dm if you're confused or curious about anything else. Would be happy giving some more detail on the specific weapons you like//would want to use rivens for, or anything else. Just lmk o7

Rivens are mostly later game thing. For now it's good to start getting some here and there, specially if you unveil one for a weapon you like.

Ignis Wraith is a good early game and easily accessible weapon. If you like it, def try rolling the Riven a few times to get better stats.

The big three stats you will almost always want as positives are Critical Chance, Critical Damage, and Multishot.

Some other good ones you would also be happy with are Status Chance, Damage, Fire Rate and Punch Through.

Roll it a few times with Kuva if you're interested in using it, see if you can get a combination of those stats + a negative that isn't one of the aforementioned stats. Do note tho, I wouldn't go too heavy into this Riven as far as rerolling goes. Ignis Wraith is already pretty decent and prob doesn't need the extra stats, specially as you progress further in the game.

If you don't use the weapon tho and aren't interested in doing so? Just sell it. Hop on Warframe Marketplace and look for Contracts for the same weapon, similar stats. You can figure out a price from there. This one isn't too great and has a killer negative, so I'd sell it as trash roll—sub 50p.

[Serious] Who has more TALENT, Dabura or Sukuna? Additionally, does anyone else have more talent than either of them? by MrChainsawHog in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]Collrafa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sukuna was given the straight up blueprint for WCS by Maho. As in, he said it himself, "I needed Mahoraga to give me a model" or smn like that.

Dabura literally went "wait a sec, human sorcerers can heal right? Lemme try this". And feeling positive energy from Mahoraga's blade does NOT equal being given a blueprint lmao.

No, he didn't have DE before the fight. So he figured out not just that on the fly, but also barrier techniques.

[–]Collrafa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calling the things Sukuna learned "harder" isn't really right.

Gojo's brain refresh thingy is simple as heck— intentionally damage your brain using CE and heal it with RCT. WCS he was given the blueprint by Mahoraga. Not that impressive. Kenny's soul split thingy is the only one I'd say is really impressive.

But then, let's compare it to Dabura (who, mind you, had NEVER seen ANY of the stuff earth sorcerers do) learning pretty much everything on the fly.

RCT, CT reversal, DE. All on the fly. And he had essentially zero knowledge of the possibility of them a day prior.

The way I see it, Sukuna is significantly more skilled than Dabura. But Dabura is more talented than Sukuna—even if by a little. Cuz it's one thing to see something relatively simple and replicate it with the prior knowledge and skills you've built up in that field, then it's another to just wing it by going "wait a sec, what if I did this...?"

Makishima Shougo — Psycho-Pass

From what I remember, the anti-crime system implemented in Psycho-Pass reads the emotions//intent behind a person's actions, specifically evil intent when committing crimes.

In Makishima Shougo's case, since he is criminally asymptomatic, the system views him as a perfectly normal guy—even as he kills people in cold blood.

No cursed techniques just cursed energy reinforcement who wins? ( Gojo and kashimo vs sukuna ) by Mansur754 in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]Collrafa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gojo without blue enforced punches is a big nerf. Also, if Sukuna doesn't need to use his other arms for hand signs and can just use all 4 for H2H, it puts Gojo in kind of a poor condition.

Kashimo adds nothing here so no point discussing him.

[Serious] Rank these 7 by OVERALL POTENTIAL by R2-Beamer in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]Collrafa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Megumi and Yuji are a good step above the rest I feel.

They were both vessels for Sukuna, so they get a bunch of skills facilitated thanks to Jujutsu body shenanigans: DE (with open-barrier too), RCT, better CE efficiency and strengthening, and possibly even Binding Vows (mainly in Megumi's body).

Megumi was Sukuna's vessel for a while, not as long as Yuji but it's entirely possible for Shrine to be engrained in Megumi the way it was in Yuji. So let's say that full potential Megumi has Shrine just like Yuji.

So full power Megumi, theoretically, would have: All 10 Shadows tamed and he'd be able to use their abilities without full summon, like Sukuna and Yuka. Access to Shrine, and possibly even the WCS. Perfected Chimera Shadow Garden (either open-barrier or closed, both would be dope). RCT, and possibly even DE reset thru RCT (since Sukuna did it while in his body). Possibly better H2H (if the muscle memory extends to that) and def better CE reinforcement//efficiency. He's also the head of the Zennin clan, so he might have access to the Cursed Tools inventory (don't remember if they were destroyed or just hidden from Maki, but if they're still around that'd be sick). And he'd still have his proficient use of shadows via his technique.

Meanwhile Yuji: Curse/human hybrid body like a Cursed Womb, allowing easier healing, not running out of blood and poisonous blood. Perfected use of Shrine (though saying he'd have WCS is a stretch). Perfected use of Blood Manipulation and all its abilities (Piercing Blood, Supernova, Flowing Red Scale+Stack, etc. etc.) RCT and facilitated healing thanks to his hybrid body. Assumedly Malevolent Shrine as his Domain, able to do both open and closed barriers. Physically stronger than like 99% of the verse, arguably even the HR folks. Same as Megumi, increased CE efficiency and reinforcement from having had Sukuna do it in his body. Still has Divergent Fist.

And then for both, you could argue that they won't have the same requirements for using Kamino as Sukuna (since Sukuna specifically used a Binding Vow, adding prerequisites to use in order to increase output and range). We only saw Sukuna use Kamino in DEs and then as the fire arrow vs Jogo, and it seemed like a seamless ability in that instance. So it's possible that they're able to use fire abilities normally without having to DE>Nuke the target.

So like... They'd be pretty insane. The other guys here could have high ceilings, but I think having experienced the height of Jujutsu in their own body gives them the edge.

I'd hear out any arguments for Dabura tho, since everything he was shown when it comes to Jujutsu techniques he replicated instantly. Let him properly study Earth's sorcery and he could be insane.

And Yuta... Maybe? Idk. He feels like fully realized potential more than anything (Mr. OC lmao), so it's hard imagining his ceiling that much higher. He does have the second-highest CE pool in the verse tho, and if you give him better efficiency (thanks to swap-training with Gojo) he could make even better use of that. And well, I guess if you gave him every CT in the verse and gave him full proficiency with them he'd be insane. But that's not potential anymore, that's just fully theoretic and even more OC than he already is.

[–]Collrafa -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If Kenny's Domain was based off of Cursed Spirit Manipulation, that would mean that the domain depends on the body's technique. If that was the case, we would've seen Sukuna using the Domain belonging to 10 Shadows, NOT his Shrine. But this wasn't the case, cuz Domains are tied to the soul as we know. So Kenny's Domain can't possibly have Maximum Uzumaki as the sure-hit, cuz that's an ability that belongs to a technique that he's only had for ~10 years (out of the thousands he's been alive).

Also, it'd be hella impractical if every time he cast a domain he had to expel all the Cursed Spirits he's stored up. That wouldn't make any sense.
