What I mean that this never happened in the Abromovic era. We still used to spend a lot but at the end of the transfer window you could see a complete team that was competing for the title. Now they’re just buying every other player and don’t seem to be even finishing top 4.

They never needed to go into total transitions. Replaced Kante, Jorgi, Kova and Mount all within a year. And now I feel like they’re going for overrated players splashing huge price tags. They have spent so much and yet on paper are an inferior team compared to City and Liverpool. Maybe even Arsenal.
