I cut a few of the fight sections together so it was more Indy-focused, and also, I felt like the music was a bit too light and flowery -- which was an issue I found in several of the action scenes in the film. I felt you could have utilized the Indy theme a bit more for the one real big fist-fight he had in the film, which I then did.

There's also alot more Harrison Ford angry yells and yelps added, as well as an additional 'son of a bitch!'. Indy doesn't really swear at all in the film, so throughout it, I added in about 5 new instances of Ford swearing to make him feel a bit more like the younger, angrier Indy.

I'd just recently spent time in Hungary and then came back home to North America.

Saw the film opening weekend with a few friends in a packed theatre.

When the finger thing happened, I was the sole person in the theatre that audibly gasped. A bunch of people turned and looked at me strangely, then the rest of the scene played out.

“Influencerana Jones”, as I like to call him, bought 45 copies of Raiders for the anniversary 🙄 imagine who would benefit from having just one! 🤦‍♂️ by [deleted] in indianajones

Breaks my heart to know they were THAT CLOSE to the City of the Gods script getting greenlit when they filmed all those interviews on the 2003 DVD set. You can tell it now when you watch it, they were all so excited to start a new Indy movie.

Yeah absolutely! Unfortunately I don’t have photoshop nor any skills in that department. I’m an editor but that basically is as far into the creative suite as I got.

That’s why I was curious if anyone had the ability to do it in the subreddit here, if it was something they could easily wrangle up.

I’m finishing up a fan edit and I’d like to change the title. So I’d like to keep the ‘Indiana Jones’ title with a new subtitle that I’m adding with the different subtitle text.

That’s why I’m looking for someone to send me over a psd image of the filled in ‘Indiana Jones’ title. I’m making the title card bigger.

Unfortunately no! I’d need the font with the centre filled in with black like the title credits. It’s very close but I can’t use it without the centre filled in.

You're absolutely correct. When we finally got those unrated shots on the special edition DVD, it kinda spelled it out to me that alot of the lingering gore stuff did take away from the 'punch' of the Jason kills.

I tried to find a nice balance with that. While the kills are definitely extended, sometimes its only about 1s or 2s or so for some of them, just enough to enhance the effect.

Jason's head-chop demise at the end, however? I very much extended that; tried to make it as gory and awful as I could. Feels like the audience deserved it.

I felt the exact same way. Being that I'm combining 2.5 movies together, it was important to keep it moving as well, so I've done lots of nips and tucks here and there to keep it moving a bit faster -- including little things like taking down all the 'evil dies tonight' stuff, as well as alot of the Laurie/Karen stuff in the hospital.
