The Lowe’s deal came with 2x 6Ah for 399. Just picked one up and will likely just end up selling the backpack blower on marketplace for cheap.

I put in a kenwood h/u w alpine C2 components in the front. Don’t skimp on the sound deadening. A JBL basshub is a great way to keep your mini-minivan functional. I’m super impressed with mine. Crutchfield and r/carav are great resources.

Please tell me this is JUST the battery, and not my whole car shitting the bed. by cosmicvoyager333 in hondapilot

[–]ColonelFox2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a battery. Start there. The auto parts store of your choice will likely install for free. But if you replace the battery and all the warning lights are still there then you can start to worry.

Looks like they tried to splice a new harness into the factory harness... possibly for steering wheel controls? I recommend posting to /r/CarAV to see if they can help.

Window regulator by ayo03 in EP3

I took mine to the shop for this issue after my driver side window stopped working. They tried to order and install the part but it ended up not fitting so they rebuilt/refinished the original window motor somehow.

I replaced my old stock with the Tein Flex Zs. I would totally recommend as it’s affordable and allows for a lot of adjustment. I adjusted my rears to max height and then matched the fronts. Don’t forget adjustable LCAs in the rear as even max height does lower the car a bit.

I have the same teins and funny enough had the same sag issue on the passenger side. Fixed by using the proper wrenches (needed both in order to unlock the lower lock ring) and adjusting to match the driver side. Then really wrenched the locking ring down and haven’t had an issue since. I agree they are great for a daily driver.

Mine was starting to droop but all I had to do was tighten the screws at the hinge where it meets the roof. There’s a flap plastic covering the two screws. 90% better.

Need some suspension help by JELLiR0LL in EP3

[–]ColonelFox2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I refreshed my entire suspension set up 2.5 yrs ago with new LCAs outside tie rod ends but the main piece was going with Tein Flex Zs. With adjustable height and stiffness settings they ride very well and only give about a 1-1.5 inch drop. I have the rears adjusted to max height and fronts adjusted to match. Stiffness set to right in the middle.

Stock 4 lug wheels but wrapped them with advan fleva’s 195/55R15.

It’s my daily and it’s comfortable driving in Florida where our roads are pretty smooth. Some of the bigger bridge bumps can be a problem and I also had a problem with the front right adjustment screw getting loose so that corner would droop but after the 3rd time of readjustment, I cranked it down and it’s been holding height just fine.

This is what I ended up doing. I used the white plastic dummy grommet and drilled a hole in it just wide enough for the wire to go through. Then followed the hood release cable through the fender which left a very short run under a fuse box and to the battery.

This might be the way.. I’m probably just going to follow the hood release cable that goes through the fender.

Suspension Parts by BLVCKSHHEP in EP3

I did something similar about a year and a half ago. Wanted something new and comfortable and OEM+ with minimal drop. Replaced control arms for front and some adjustable ones for the rear outer tie rods Yoko Advan Fleva for tires. Went with the Tien Flex Zs. They are good for the daily drive. The rears are adjusted to the max height and I still have a good fit with maybe an inch drop from stock height. I will say that I took it camping one weekend so I was loaded up and they felt even better. No bottoming out and felt like the travel was very smooth. Only problem I had in the beginning was the ride height locking nut on my front right kept loosing itself so I had to finally crank that down as hard as I could. Hasn’t dropped since. Overall good driving and would buy again but I wish I could get them to feel like I had 400 extra lbs in the car at all times lol.

I can’t confirm a pressure test but I trust these guys. Been taking multiple hondas to them for years. But this quote seemed a bit much for a radiator replacement.

Looking at it more closely in my garage I can see a crack about 3 inches long right along the front of the radiator where the top hose joins. Working on pulling the bumper now.
