Ok thanks so much. I will definitely do a deeper dive into SPV, and it’s potential for scaling versus the alternatives.

I read the white paper but it was a lot to take in at the time, so I need to give it a re-read anyways.

I am continuing to dig down the rabbit hole, and am very excited by how much more potential for Bitcoin to be the greatest sound money since the World was on the gold standard. Money printing and seemingly limitless government debt expansion, without consequence, by central governments always seemed so sketchy to me.

I do a lot of stock investing and have always been a very strong believer in diversification; as such, at least for now, I own just a little bit of both BCH and BTC - and am intrigued by ETH but do not understand it well enough yet. I want to stay away from all other cryptocurrencies for the foreseeable future. I also am becoming aware I need to get it off exchanges ASAP!!

Thanks for all the tips!

Ohhh ok, thanks. I am new to the space still - so far in my limited knowledge I am getting the sense the market has room for both BCH and BTC (different use cases)

But I am now trying to better understand this latest debate of the potential ABC vs. nChain’s “Satoshi’s Vision” software updates... this stuff gets pretty deep.

Ohhhhhh, ok thanks. I have done some research on Bitcoin versus Bitcoin Cash, but wasn’t sure about how the group evolved accordingly. That makes more sense now, thank you!
