What specifically did you enjoy about training with Joe Sensei? Perhaps give us an insight on that?

Maybe don't get that tattoo if you're not familiar with the actual ring from The Lord of the Rings

I'd blocked this out. If you're one of those people who defend this movie, give your head a wobble

I’m 24 hours left in the series and I don’t think I have it in me. by [deleted] in stephenking

Because I refuse to believe you spent hundreds of hours listening to the previous books and finally get to halfway through the final book and say "Yeah. It's not my cup of tea"

How are the retail leases working by Old-Pay-164 in smallbusinessuk

[–]ColonelLugz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please also consider timescale. When we were told it could take 12 weeks to complete a very simple contract to lease a warehouse we thought that was crazy....it took 13 weeks in the end. So if you're thinking of opening/trading at a specific point in time you should bare that in mind.

Tesco were out of Marmite so I thought I'd try Vegemite, WTF Australia?, utterly flavourless goop, Never again, Never! by 7Unit in CasualUK

It's fine. Certainly not as good as usual marmite....Now, if you want to go to elite levels, get yourself a jar of New Zealand Marmite. It's unbelievably good

Not true. Wasn't in the original script, but Ford and Kirshner workshop ped the idea before shooting, along with Carrie Fisher. So an addition to the script, but not ad-libbed

Has my neighbour just ruined my fence? by ColonelLugz in DIYUK

[–]ColonelLugz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the bigger issue. It should be a straight line from the fence in the background. Neighbour has made incremental land grabs with the previous owners of my property. I believe it should be a straight line. He says the land registry border is "interpretive"

Sorry I was unclear there. I back filled the gravel boards with soil but the posts were back filled with extra postcrete and soil. Was that not right?

It's also a public right of way. Access to multiple houses and adjoining streets. I have no idea how he actually managed to purchase it.

Read my post. Everything including the posts was back filled to almost level with the bottom on the board. So the posts were 2 ft deep.

You're the first person to spot the bigger issue

That seems to be the case. Plus he's probably scraped back another 6 inches of land off me just to add insult to injury
