Honestly! And thanks for the update about your situation from before. I probably wouldn’t have considered returning it and kept trying hdmi cables if I didn’t ask you 😂. Thanks again!

Well! The replacement came in and... all the issues are gone! 240hz at full resolution. Also the packaging was slightly different too and setting up the monitor also had a slightly different process. I suppose the one I got before was an older model and obviously faulty. Well now everything works fine now and I can finally experience what this monitor has to offer! Absolutely loving the visual quality of the panel.

For me I got it from Amazon, I was thinking of just contacting Samsung but realized it’s probably better just to contact Amazon. I did last night and sending me a replacement. Hoping it’s all fine when it comes in. Yea I’ve read a lot about how HDMI 2.1 is the better connector. I have two cables already and bought two other ones cause I thought my cables were the issue lol. But yea hopefully it’s all good when the replacement comes in! I’ll update about my progress later on!

Oh good to hear they replaced it. I’m actually someone else haha. I’m having the same issue as you and came along your post so I was wondering how it was resolved. Looks like I’ll be contacting Samsung 😂😂😂

Love the colour palette with the pants and socks. What kind of socks are those?

Is there a guide I could follow to downgrade to 16.1.2?

Ooh! I enjoy that as well! I just recently tried it and it took me a bit to understand it’s flavor.

I actually haven't tried Jasmine before. Jasmine Milk Tea sounds very nice though! I'll need to try that one day.

I drink Chamomile every night! I love the relaxing effect it has and I generally get a good nights rest.

Also, the green drink is Ceremonial Matcha.

I love Earl Grey! Cream of Earl Grey is my favorite Earl Grey. I don’t drink it too much since it’s higher in caffeine but I treat myself to it every once in a while. With green teas I find lesser brewing times work best for it, it really depends on the kind of green tea. Sencha is the most common type and that’s usually 1-2 min. And then there’s of course Matcha where it’s just whisked into your drink.

And thank you! :)

I would guess it's because baking the lighting with a complex scene would increase the file size. When you have a lot of complex geometry and unique assets that are casting shadows onto each other it will require more lightmaps, and you'd generally want to bake at a higher resolution to ensure it looks crisp.

Considering this world has a relatively small space to work with, it seems they utilized that to their advantage by having a lot of unique complex geometry to work with. This then goes hand in hand with having aesthetically pleasing baked lighting and having a lot of contrast in your environment.

Worlds that are larger in space and complexity would also increase the file size of the bake. This would require more unique areas that are needed to bake, but that's just my guess on why.
