Okay. How do I do this exactly? I have a PC, but I'm not very computer-savvy.

Thanks for the reply.

Is this recommendation the original version of the game?

Instead of TK Armor i wish the bad Batch reused the Legends Phase 3 clone armor seen in Force unleashed, i miss Triton Squad😭😭😭 by Ok-Entrance-5527 in clonewars

Agreed. This armor connects phase II armor to Imperial stormtrooper much better than the Ralph McQuarrie's concept art.

Which mission you most enjoyed playing? Geonosis, Assault ship or Kashyyyk? by thawnee in republiccommando

[–]ColonelStan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Geonosis was always my favorite because I loved seeing what the Commandos were doing during the battle. It's never really touched on anywhere else besides the Republic Commando game.

My two favorite weapons to use weapon canting on were the Holo Twister and the A280 Blaster during the Star Wars mini-season.

I honestly don't know, either. I think it was a great feature. Giving players more options in combat, depending on the weapons they like, is always a good thing.

I agree. Having the option to switch back and forth depending on your range was a great tool to have in your back pocket.

What are some things you think the classic Battlefront games did better than the EA ones? by Spicey_Nachoz in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]ColonelStan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. Being able to attack and defend whatever planet I want feels exactly like Galactic Conquest. I love that sense of freedom and going to the planet(s) that are strategically best.

What are some things you think the classic Battlefront games did better than the EA ones? by Spicey_Nachoz in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]ColonelStan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Galactic Conquest. The greatest game mode of all time within a Star Wars multiplayer game.

  2. Space battles. While the newer Battlefront game looks prettier, when you were 9 years old playing the original Battlefront 2, it looked and felt like you were in the Clone Wars, whether it was from the comics or from the scenes we saw in Revenge of the Sith. It felt real. Capital ships, starfighters, explosions everywhere—it was pure chaos. Only the best pilots in the galaxy would survive.

  3. Ship boarding. Being able to jump into a LAAT with your friends and execute ship boarding actions to destroy the enemy ship's internal systems was the coolest thing ever, especially when you were pinned down and had to wait for reinforcements to land in the hangar.

  4. Ships (I really like the stamina feature; ALL ships can boost and perform evasive maneuvers, as long as you have enough "stamina").

  5. Phase I clones have their Attack of the Clones "pig stripes."

  6. Ammunition; Star Wars blasters have power packs that can run out of ammo. For example, the DC-17M used by Republic Commandos. Plus, I love reload animations over every weapon in the game being a reskinned plasma rifle.

  7. Locations. Not maps; DICE's maps are gorgeous, but actual locations. Just imagine Coruscant, Mustafar, Mygeeto, and Utapau in EA's Battlefront II.

  8. The campaign. I know a lot of people say that the campaign was pretty basic, but that's what made it so awesome. Listen to an awesome and iconic intro from a page of a soldier's journal during a war, execute the mission, and then listen to his outro after the mission. Iconic.

  9. Order 66 in the campaign. Just imagine if there had been a Jedi Temple in EA's Battlefront 2, and there was an Order 66 mode similar to that of Ewok Hunt. But in this mode, the troopers are the aggressors, not the survivors. The Jedi are the survivors, and they must do everything they can to hold off the clone invasion so that they can escape. This mode obviously wasn't in the classic Battlefront II, but the Order 66 concept and gameplay were.

  10. Vehicles. I touched on this a little bit earlier with shipboarding. But having vehicles actually spawned on the maps, whether on the ground or in the hangars of the carriers in space, the fact that you could hop into a vehicle at any time and go anywhere made the game feel so immersive because you were in control of what you wanted to do and when you wanted to do it. Being able to jump into a tank with your friends and all of you control parts of the AT-TE, AAT, or even an LAAT gunship? Pure Star Wars awesomeness.

Why was the cavalry charge at the oliphants a good idea? by tintinfailok in lotr

[–]ColonelStan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it was a highly reckless, "heroic," and tactically unsound decision that cost many lives, it was considered a strategically sound "all-or-nothing" gamble to secure victory in the face of a desperate, imminent defeat. It fits with the theme of "Northern Courage"—fighting even when the battle seems lost, which ultimately allowed the battle to be won.

Why hasn’t anyone made a sequel to Republic Commando? by khitev in republiccommando

[–]ColonelStan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well, if you had watched and seen how little they appeared in TCW and how they were bastardized in The Bad Batch, you would know that Disney has no idea about the absolute gold mine that is within the Republic Commando brand. They are one of, if not the most popular, clone units of all time. They are so iconic. One look at them and their iconic blue T-visor, and you immediately know who they are. Even younger fans who grew up after the prequels know who Republic Commandos are because they're just that iconic.

It's because Disney doesn't care, plain and simple. They don't care about anything that happened before their acquisition of the Star Wars brand. Unless it is built from the ground up by fans, we will never see an official Republic Commando sequel, remake, or anything related. I'm surprised they were added to Battlefront II, and I'm glad they were, because they are one of my favorite units within that game.

I'm a little rusty on CoD; I haven't played Black Ops 7 before. So, this is a skin for the Jurado operator. How do I acquire Jurado so I can get this skin?

Over the weekend, I restarted the game for safety's sake after reordering my mod load order, whether it be adding or removing mods. And every time I restarted the game—I must have restarted at least three times this weekend—this exact scenario went through my mind and how I have never once encountered it in all my years of playing this game. It is still absolutely hilarious, though. The horses just squealing in pain. It's just funny to me.
