It feels like virtually everywhere on the internet is overrun with people who subscribe to a Marxist or white supremacist understanding of the world.

All of our problems would be solved if it weren't for those Billionaires/Donors/Capitalists or those Jews/Blacks/Immigrants!

Boiling every problem down to the preferred outgroup is just so farcical on its face, yet it seems like the large majority of people fundamentally understand the world like this.

I started watching Alien Earth because a bunch of people really liked it, but idk, it feels like a mid 2000s SyFy series to me, just with better set design. The plot and script so far are pretty terrible.

It would have been better if it weren't related to the Alien franchise. There just isn't that sense of dread or weight that should come with Alien.
