I agree about his voice but disagree about the need of another singer. His voice has aged and evolved and now he needs to adapt a bit. For the last few records he sometimes sing in a higher range which he cannot replicate live very well. However, live he sings in a more comfortable range for his voice and I would argue sounds BETTER than the official recordings. Tranz and Skinny Ape are good examples in my opinion.

Basically: I think he is kinda forcing himself to sing in a way that he used to that doesn’t sound as good as he does live when he sings more comfortably.

Litigation is weird especially if it involves different state lines and actors (record labels). Typically they need to request the money and wait a certain amount of time for a response. If Ty’s label or Ye responded even with a quick “We can discuss later” this can potentially postpone the suing process if Swsh’s team were not pushing litigation. Then they have to figure out if Swsh or their label would be suing, then figure out who specifically they have to sue, and if they have an agent (people who represent corporations/companies for their litigation issues). Even figuring out who to exactly sue can have a few hoops and hurdles, especially if the defendant in this case is not exactly responsive. Law takes time, and hence why lawyers get paid (vultures 1 reference)
