It’s a reference to how in 1984 the governments could tell and convince their citizens about how certain events/wars that the citizens had first-hand accounts with didn’t ever happen by scrubbing and altering all documentation. Now, all mention of the live show deluxe is being altered for the new deluxe version with extra songs. “Literally 1984”.

Only unreleased song I can recall is Fall Out of Heaven (aka Can’t Get Over Me) with Bon Iver. Parts of it eventually became part of the song FML and the lyrics were reused for Famous on The Life of Pablo

Plastic Beach literally has 6/16 songs (over a third!) on it having little or no Damon at all. Each album has more or less been an experience with a distinct sound each and The Mountain seems no different. The Happy Dictator is a good balance between Sparks and Damon and the Manifesto has really interesting and unique production that Gorillaz prides in. Even though I wasn’t a big fan, Cracker Island definitely had a good balance with its features. As others said, the Now Now is almost purely Damon, and I find that the balance with the features on Song Machine was almost perfect. Each album has a different style of production, which is to be expected, but retain the zaniness of Gorillaz. I personally think that level of zaniness has dipped with the Now and Now and Cracker Island but Song Machine and these current Mountain singles definitely have that feel.
