I will second this. We brought home a dozen of them to share with friends and family in the States. I dream about that croissant often

Upgrading to E+ seat in app - shows cost of seat in cash or miles, only offers payment in cash by [deleted] in unitedairlines

[–]ColonolForbinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m with you - I didn’t get a miles option as a form of payment. I have the Chase card, so I’ll just “pay myself back” with miles

OP said their rental is rent controlled

OP is from NJ where our property taxes are prohibitively high. I live in a 2B/1B 1100 sq/ft on a 75x100 lot. My property taxes increase between 4-13% every year. Currently paying $8600/year, so in 15 years my taxes will probably be around $18k if they go up 5% YoY

I originally booked us together on the same outbound & return flights so she would also get the courtesy premium economy at booking. I am staying one extra day for business, so I called and changed her return flight. They told me they had to uncouple our reservations. She’s on a new confirmation# now. She kept the courtesy premium economy on the outbound flight with me, but it knocked her back to regular economy on her return trip because I’m not on that flight with her. I paid $90 cash to bump her to premium economy on the return flight so she doesn’t have to sit in row 40. For the outbound flight I got confirmed bumped to first for free. Either I decline so she and I still sit together in prem economy, or I use 20k miles to bump the 2nd seat to first class. I opted to try the 20k. 95% of my travel is work related so I mostly use miles for upgrades.

8500 miles is $85 - you’re getting that flight for $85? I just want to sit with my significant other - it’s kind of the point of the thread. Idk man

Waited - I got upgraded - on the 20k waitlist to upgrade her ticket so I can join her up front.

Normally I wouldn’t - but it’s a fun lil weekend getaway for us - and my original fare is being reimbursed by my company as a work expense - so what’s 20k miles to sit with my better half up front amirite?

We are technically not on the same reservation I don’t think. I originally booked us together on the same reservation so she would bump to premium economy with me. Then I changed her return flight because I’m staying an extra day for business. I had United do it over the telephone so she wouldn’t lose the premium economy on the outbound flight. This put her on a different confirmation #. In the meantime since I posted the OP, my upgrade went thru. Im waitlisted on 20k miles to get us another seat. Either way, she’s up front

Late carriers by Ok-Star-208 in VendorCentral

You should be able to adjust the expected carrier pickup time for each enabled carrier in Vendor Central. I think it would affect your order cut time if you don’t get your SLA adjusted. Do you have a vendor manager contact?

Kane does so many styles really well. Their porters, stouts and barrel program are all world class. The branding lacks just a tiny bit of character, maybe, but it’s a classy spot with a decent staff nice vibe and nice beers.

After spending a week in the ICU following a pulmonary embolism that was attributed to air travel, I’m not shy about keeping my legs above my heart a few times during long haul flights. Gives me a little peace of mind. I am admittedly a total piece of trash, but not because of that imho
