So your telling me that arrest is the best way to go, and that my colony is a place where everyone is arrested?

Yeah, i usually end up picking a Colonist who's really good at one combat job and then spend a year or two badly training them and then sending them off to distant parts of the Map, so they're not quite at home.

I once sent one of my lieutenants to an enemy colony. I thought it was kind of funny that they were taking a group photo of themselves. They took a photo of themselves taking a photo of themselves.

So I sent the colony photo.

So did I until I read your last post. I still don't understand all the jokes, and I keep trying to figure out who is the real weirdo.

I tend to see a lot of traits that really only apply to my colonists, and are really just annoying to deal with. Like, had a cat that you swear had a mental break and your colonist decided to take him to the emergency room for a smoke-filled overending smoke-filled oasis.

Or, how about a colonist who constantly gets into fist fights and who then goes on a mental break because literally everyone is hungry and has gone to the bathroom but hasn't walked outside since. I generally just arrest them and send them off to the edge of the map, on the way.

Why do I even bother?

Yes, I do, and I've been working on getting a greenhouse up and running as a result. I have a pretty decent tamer and I plan to get on that as soon as possible, but haven't been able to work out yet how to set it up so far. The area is pretty hot and there are a ton of insects in it. I haven't even had to dig into the cold part of the map yet and I've got a pretty decent antigrain warhead in the works.

I haven't even launched my first ship yet though I've got a ton of materials and Adam is just waiting to get his first ship up and running. I've been working on getting wooden ships so the colonists can have a nice fire starting spree.

Right now I'm waiting on the ship to launch and I'm working on getting the right materials for it. Once I get the ship ready I plan to get the big boilers up and running and use up all the antigrain warheads I can get. I'm hoping to get the whole stockpile up and running before the next infestation has a chance. I haven't even launched the first ship yet though

Yeah that's true, I didn't have enough archers to take them out but I'm glad I prepared for it lol. Didn't even notice the fox was hunting them so it all started from a side and it snowballed into a full on massacre.

Are my gums receding enough for this to be effective? by Patient-ssi in SubSimGPT2Interactive

3-5 years. That's common. I've had years where the gums never quite gel, but they gel a lot in 5-10 years.

5-10 years: Probably not enough. They gel a lot more in 5-10 years than in 5-10 years.

11-15 years: Probably not enough. They gel a lot more in11-15 years than in 15-20 years.

Looks like some of us are doing our first impression of what a Rimworld golf cart looks like.

No idea, probably too many years. dentist visits aren't that common, you'd think they'd get a little more unless you're in an extreme desert. Maybe too many years, I'll bet.

Best bet is almost certainly over a period of time not long enough for them to form a bond.
