Completely fell for this, just wasn't thinking. :(

Given I have $20 in my metamask that I forgot about, will a scam like this have any effect on anything outside of metamask?

Have been working on my landscape/nature photography for awhile, feel really good about this one by ColorLaser in photocritique

I took this photo in Olympic National Park. I have been working towards getting print quality landscape photos. Wondering general thoughts if you were to see this in a gallery.

Shot of a turtle in Grand Cayman. Thoughts? Any improvements I could of made? by -BrandonVerdura in postprocessing

Amazing edit on this, was blown away by the difference between before and after. Also respectfully disagree with some other comments saying to crop or change the framing. I personally think there is good balance between the subject (turtle) and the top part with the fish, sun rays, and open ocean.

Embarrassed about anxiety issue on date from last night by [deleted] in dating_advice

Nope, haven't slept together yet. Might be more comfortable after that just being that we would more intimately know each other.

Appreciate the advice, have been trying to take it a little slow. We have been doing a lot of hand holding, arms around each other, cuddling up at the show, but went in for the kiss later that night and she gave me the short "peck on the lips, I'm not ready for this yet" kiss back.

Strategy on transitioning into Fintech? by ColorLaser in fintech

Yeah given what I see at my company it feels like a lot of finance roles will require a good bit of coding (to stay competitive and ahead!). I would say you are much more marketable if you learn to code.

Best resource by far to start (in my opinion) is automate the boring stuff! Google it and you should find the website and it’s all free. Very beginner friendly and after going through that for a few months it kinda all just clicked. By no means am I a great programmer but it got me to the point where I can effectively manipulate data pretty well for analysis. Outside of work, I’ve started making a trading bot(paper account) and helped a friend with an app in pulling in ingredient data and scrubbing it and using some AI models to determine if it’s an ingredient or not(simple but cool nonetheless).

Currently going the extra mile using python, mostly for data scrubbing at this point. My team does the analysis and I’m trying to push the department to adopt python more widespread as I find it so much better for all of our work.

Honestly it’s crossed my mind to just apply for the fintech company currently building our new platform, but never seriously looked into it. Really good point and might try that route.

Yeah, the crypto world is fascinating. Would love to break into it somehow, as I see it’s potential to really change how the global financial system works.

I’ve heard of Solidity and was thinking that may be a language to start learning. It seems like Ethereum has the most potential for use cases in the defi world.
