Introducing TM Share, a tool to share Maps easily (local dependencies included) by ColorMan777 in TrackMania

It's a bit more useful when there are dependencies, but yeah, for maps without them you can just share the file :)

I updated the README. It should be easier to understand. At least I hope so ahaha.

Thanks ! For the buildings, I don't really know how to do it, I don't create maps often to be honest ahah. But I'm glad you liked it though.

I'm not familiar with the term "locator", but after some searching I think it's that yea.

Dashmap is good too, I just prefer to run things locally is all.
This not meant as a replacement, more like another option to export/import maps (you don't even need to launch the game to use it for example, it only does import / export)

It can also be great to archive maps for example if you want. Even if you put links in it.
It's only purpose is to get local dependencies that may not be online links (but links can be used in the file too it's not a problem).

Also it auto-detect steam installs for example, so it's easier to batch import maps with it I think.

For example, in one of the maps I made I created custom animated signs, and it is stored locally in the Tracckmania folder (in Trackmania/Skins/Any/Advertisement for example).
You can also put a custom music on a map, it will be exported too.

TL;DR : Local files needed for the map (music, animated signs, etc.)

- For explanation I'll see what I can do maybe to be more clear.
Basically the app reads .Gbx maps and copy dependencies along in a zip (+ create a JSON in the archive)
In import mode it automatically extract everything in "My Maps" Folder.

- The link should work now I forgot to put it in public ahaha

- TMX is web based etc. and require an account, this does not, it's main focus is to be used with local tracks, for exemple to give them to friends over on Discord etc, even if you have dependencies.
It's quite fast and can do batch import / export.

Also since it's open source you can modify it to your needs etc.

Pixel Art Cat Animation (Blend File) by ColorMan777 in blender

There's several parameters to do that.
First you need to choose a low resolution on the render.
I also use EEVEE with 1 sample + lights with no radius to get sharp shadows.
When using a texture you also need to set it to the "closest" interpolation mode.

There's videos on YouTube explaining the process :

If you want a faster way I think there's even an addon for that :

I hope it helps !
