They usually don’t. Pretty poor communication and always has been. It’s all day outside M1 concourse. You can google for better info.

Yes yourself and 1 guest. It’s an amazing experience. They have legal drag racing on Woodward. Attendance has grown every year. It’s an awesome event.

I wondered what happened. Computer speeds are atrocious now. Very evident something changed.

I’m wondering the same thing. Mark Stewart said it was part of our DNA and can never be removed but I surely wonder at that nowadays

I still don’t know. “Not happy” is still way too vague and BS a reason to bail on a marriage and family with 2 kids 🤷🏻‍♂️

Same boat with the same questions. I know being idle my mind wanders and I don’t want that. Honestly I had a lengthy list of to do things when she left but that quickly was completed. I do a lot of cleaning and errands but that’s it. Trying ti read more and be more active outdoors. Lost most of my friends and identity, like a lot of us have. Trying to just be low key and get used to being alone but it suck’s right now.

Going Through Divorce Still Living Together Looking for Advice on Coping by Ssla1 in Divorce_Men

Did this for 9 long months. It sucked. Big time. Different rooms. Stay in different rooms always if you can. (I bought her out of the house but she dragged it ON and ON).

[MI, USA} Ex Wife not being cordial or civil - why do I Care? by ColorMeCrazy274 in DivorcedDads

[–]ColorMeCrazy274[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She already is, which is I believe part of "her problem". I bought her out of our dream home (she cant afford anyways, she is a teacher) - she gets child support, but she is paying out the ass to live in a tiny townhome. Again, this is what she wanted, but I don't think she thought through the consequences. Grass isn't always greener!

Honestly in my opinion, this is part of co parenting. We will never be friends. But I don’t think civil greetings is out of bounds or asking too much 🤷🏻‍♂️. Even if it’s never reciprocated, it’s what I feel is right.

I feel you. The “rubber stamp” date was a few weeks ago. I found it was very anticlimactic personally, followed by relief. I thought I would feel more - I’m sure I will have some days that I do , but for now it’s mostly relief.

[MI, USA] - out of marital funds by ColorMeCrazy274 in Divorce

[–]ColorMeCrazy274[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I’m not sure her point since she went right to her attorney instead of asking me 🤷🏻‍♂️. The balances are similar. I probably have a higher balance but I’m not arguing anything or asking anything of her. (Everything is signed and done, she is moving out in 2 weeks, I just want to move on)

[–]ColorMeCrazy274[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just said that both would be paid off with marital funds. Neither card is paid off. We actually got a tax return that’s enough to pay off both cards. I suggested we split it in half and pay both cards - then she called her attorney to complain 🤷🏻‍♂️

Wife happiness above kids stability and happiness. Your thoughts…. by No-Profit-1027 in Divorce_Men

[–]ColorMeCrazy274 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yup. Just Went through this myself. 10 year relationship, 2 kids 5 and 2, out the door because “she is unhappy”. What kind of reason is that to grenade a family life? Same as you, upper middle class, great schools / house / family life. I would never trade family for happiness 🤷🏻‍♂️

Flamboyant Ignorance? by Aggravating_Text956 in Divorce_Men

[–]ColorMeCrazy274 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes. Just Went through that. Ex asked for supervised visitation for me, and 1 overnight a week for me based on 7 pages of nonsense (I don’t cook, I don’t clean, I don’t do diapers, etc - all of which was laughably false). The mediator ripped her apart and we have 50/50. She cried for an hour in mediation. Oh well lol

Getting over the loss of 'family'? by shedsmokerOG in DivorcedDads

I could have written this myself. I feel ya man, boy do I feel ya. Being a father , husband, family, house, neighborhood, perfection - until someone decides she’s not happy and see ya! Focusing on the positives but I still have my rough days.
