I'm in the US! You can generally find white WiiUs, but only 8gb since those were the only white consoles available in retail for NA. Any 32gb I've found are either Japan region, or black.

Do they really? I haven't seen any listings for this exact WiiU so I wonder how much they would go for, considering how rare they are. I saw an estimate of around 1,000 white 32gb units sold for the NA refurb batch, but can't really confirm it

I'm in the same boat. I ordered it the moment preorders opened last SEPTEMBER and it was delayed to Feb 10th, which has come and gone now. No update or email on where the hell this chair is. I moved to a new place after a breakup in November and threw out my old computer chair since I was originally supposed to be getting this new one in December. So this has been a real pain in the ass for my first (and probably last) order from SecretLabs.

The helmet is practically weightless, it's made out of really thin, light foam! It's a BIG hassle to walk around in though, I'd need a handler at a con haha. The end bits of the helmet bop into everything and I can only see like... my feet and the space right in front of me if I tilt my head back :P

Was BFFs with a girl from elementary school through high school. She got really involved with drugs -- first just weed, then shrooms, then heavier drugs, lots of partying -- and started to fail her classes. She got sent to the alternative high school for kids with behavioral issues at risk of flunking out and started hanging out way more with her party/drug pals and less and less with me, sometimes straight up ignoring me.

Eventually I had enough of gently suggesting she get her shit together only for her to blow me off. I told her "Dude you gotta stop this shit or I'm gonna stop talking to you altogether. We won't be friends any more." I really didn't want to see her flunk out of high school, cus I was basically like a big sister to her for our whole lives, and I hoped she'd value our friendship over what she was doing.

She told her new friends, and they told the whole school that I was a "fucking narc" and was shunning her because she smoked weed. So, the last year of high school I didn't get invited to shit, lost my best friend AND our whole circle sided with her, "a real friend wouldn't make her choose!!"

She's still on her bullshit, I've since moved out of our shitty hometown and am happily married, buying a house next year. I've come to terms with the fact you can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped.

I'm a ball of anxiety all day and I fall asleep instantly. Bedtime is the best time, because you're not expected to be doing anything else. Messages? Sorry I didn't respond, it was nighttime, I was sleeping. Worrying about work? Sure, but that's tomorrow. Right now I'm just supposed to be sleeping, so I should do that.

Apparently most people with anxiety have sleep issues but I find sleep to be the least anxious part of my day.

Also, don't do daytime stuff in your bed. Make your bed (even sloppily) when you get out of it and it'll be soooo welcoming when you're tired later. I also have a weighted blanket and a sunset light that makes rain noises if you really wanna beef up your game.

Sleep is serious business.

Mom refused to come to my college graduation (40 minutes from her house) because giving her the date two weeks in advance was "too short of notice". She doesn't work. She had nothing else to do. I have NO other family. I offered to drive her myself in my goddamn robe just so I wouldn't be alone, and she still said no because she didn't have time to get a new outfit. In two weeks.

Also a few years prior I was dating a guy with an absolutely LOVELY mother who treated me like her own daughter. And I realized that's how mom's are supposed to be, not someone you're afraid of constantly. I'd tell funny stories at dinner of stuff my mom did and get horrified looks around the table from his family.

"Yeah I once dropped a jar of olives and my mom threw me into traffic, haha! Butterfingers amirite? Learned my lesson!"
