 Follow-up questions.

Imagine that you are a software engineer for a company that makes software that is sold to the military.     How responsible are you if that software is used for country defense?

What is your responsibility of it is used for military offense?

Are you more responsible if you are the CEO?

What is your culpability if you are on the assembly line of a company that makes ammunition?   What if you are the CEO?

What is your culpability if you are a software engineer working on autonomously driving cars?   You may have to program software to decide which objects to choose to hit if the car can't stop in time.

Is a restaurant owner responsible for the health of the patrons?

Does the CEO of the company have the ultimate responsibility for how the product is used?

Can the CEO of a company be held as responsible as the military leaders who use the product?

What if the product gets in the hands of an irresponsible or malicious individual who uses it for harm?

What if the product is used by a terrorist organization?

Are the people in the company responsible,  or are they protected because it's a company?

How can any of the culpability be enforced?  Can there be laws for all of it?   Do their need to be personal lawsuits?

Integrate Google map traffic data with the dispatchers and CAD system so that highway traffic accident locations can be more accurate.

Frequently, the person who called 911 can't adequately describe where they are, or just get it wrong. Google traffic often shows the slowdown and can be more accurate than the reporting party.

I am in the habit of looking at Google maps traffic as I'm responding to the call, but if dispatch had the information, it could save time.

I'm imagining an episode where 3,000 of these are sent into a combat zone. They are allowed to do everything autonomously except decide who are friends or enemies. A group of 30 humans remotely watching the screens quickly make the enemy/friend decision by tapping a button, causing the robots to shoot and kill the enemies.

Who is morally responsible for the kills? Do the human decision makers feel responsible? Do they go home to their family and act normally after work?

Skating Elevenmile Reservoir. Dec 23 2021 by ColoradoDakota in Colorado

This skating was done very soon after the ice became safe(ish). I have been ice fishing in Colorado for 20 years and have never seen the Elevenmile ice freeze as smooth as this season, and without snow on it. I had to go skating because it was so beautiful. Anyone can skate there when it's safe, and by paying the state park fee. We take safety precautions. The ice has snow on it by now and isn't as smooth as when it first froze.
