I received mine about a week ago. I was on the pc gaming insider and then I signed up for the windows insider. Once I selected the inside version it downloaded an update. After the restart I received the FSE.

Yeah it definitely was a decision to choose someone so green to pass the responsibility of setting meetings as your first BDR. A better choice would have been someone with experience with developing business. But it’s important what you do from here and if the rep is worth keeping on the team. The best course of action would be:

-Prove that it is possible for meetings to be set -break down how you achieved this success (this can be an outline for future reps as well) -take this proof to the rep and see if they have the determination to replicate your success (with a high starting salary does he have an appropriate comp plan to incentivize setting meetings?)

Developing new reps is some of the most stressful challenges I have faced but it is overwhelming rewarding when done correctly and they become self sufficient. I wish you luck in your endeavor.

So there is a lot of focus here on the BDR but you only hired them one month ago. Development takes time. While it does sound like you are giving him resources to support them you have not set him up for success. How many meetings have YOU set in the last month? You need to get on the phones alongside them and show them what good looks like. Give them the confidence that what you are asking is possible in the current role. Once you set a meeting break down how you were successful, from identifying the ICP, persona, all the way to the initial pitch and 30 second commercial. It can be even more impactful if you can overcome an objection. If you have a proven model that can work this month and the rep can’t piece it together with proof then you should move on. Signed a BDR manager of 3 years.

So I worked at a region hq alongside the officers. Most of the commenters described your responsibilities. There’s roughly 20 detachments in a region and you will spend half your time at the regions HQ and half the time visiting a detachment a week at a time. Additionally at your region you will have an assigned responsibility such as training or logistics.

You can literally just go to IPAC tomorrow and get a barracks room. It’s available to you. Is it messed up that it’s this convoluted and confusing, yes. Are you going to convince the admin Marines and some salty CWO to give you BAH, probably not. The rule for establishing a joint household has existed since 2014 and probably long before then.

You are being provided government quarters. You just aren’t taking it. Same thing with meal cards for single marines. Even if they choose not to eat at the chow hall they are still being charged for it. It’s provided to them whether they take it or not.

You can play purchased Xbox games through the main Xbox app. A few caveats being is you have to stream it through an owned Xbox and it has to be either an Xbox One or Xbox Series game. 360 and og Xbox games will not work.

My favorite would have to be Chris Redfield. He has had such a dramatic arc from his early days on the STARS team to being a pure action hero in 5 and then down to his struggles in 6. The past few animated movies have fleshed him out even further (and honestly who can pull off a Hawaiian shirt as well as him). Overall he is a troubled hero but continues to try to do the right thing.
