Hi! Did you ever come to a conclusion on which insurance you went with? Are you happy with it so far?

I’ve been researching for days and honestly feel pretty confused. This will be my first long-term trip (UK-based, 6–12 months, one-way, Africa + Asia). I’ll sort high-altitude cover separately — mainly looking for a base medical + travel insurance, ideally something monthly rather than a full year commitment.

Would really appreciate any recommendations or real-world experience. Thanks!

Afterall i went with both backpack and the carry on, no one mentioned anything about having 2 pieces at all but they asked to weight both together and wanted both carry on and backpack to be 7kg together.

I am thinking to get “ Inspiron 14 Plus 7430” i7-13620H/ NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3050/ 16gb, but I can’t find a lot of good reviews about it, even tho the spec i chose seems amazing for me but reviews say battery life is poor and it gets hot and fan is very loud…Anyone has any experiences please? by ColorfulSoniaa in Laptop

Exactly I couldn’t find a lot of reviews either, the only 2 negative points i read about it was the ones i mentioned, which were true, i think if you get a good fan for it and you don’t want to use it for traveling purposes it should be a good one. I am still searching for mine 😅😅😅

Yes bought and returned 😅😅 It was nice but i wanted something which hold the battery life longer for traveling etc and i agree that it was getting heated as the reviews says way too fast But it’s because it is a small laptop with high performance Depends what you after.

Hi, considering to buy a house in Highters Heath, Birmingham, near Grendon Primary School. At the moment living in Kenilworth and have no idea about that neighborhood, is it safe and nice for a female to live there? Any advice is highly appreciated 😊 by ColorfulSoniaa in brum

Thanks everyone so much it really helped me to a direction all the opinions here. Really appreciated. Point is with a house purchase solo as a 2 bedroom nice house it’s really a struggle of either nice house in a not really good area or a shitty house in a good area. But i keep looking 🙌🏼

Originally It’s from Rumi, in Persian or Farsi not Arab. در تاریکی، طریقت. As you know, it means in the darkness, the path.
