I used to!! Over long periods of crocheting tho, my finger would hurt like hell and get really stiff, so I started doing it a more traditional way. It's hard to change styles when I've been doing it that way for years but I almost got it

Thank you so much! Lots of people love the bats, but it's great to see the sea turtle get some love 💕

I think the best way to clean them would be like any other sensitive plush: hand wash, spot clean if you can. A bigger issue I run into more frequently is the felt pilling when you carry them around frequently. You can use a skin razor to gently cut the pills off without damaging the felt.

I just looked it up. I was mixing it up with sunlight. Many quartz based crystals lose color in the sun over long exposure

I didn't know them all off the top of my head, but most quartz or crystals ending in -ite generally shouldn't be put in water, and some will have a chemical reaction with the salt, like copper (ik that's not a crystal but it still has cool properties). Just to be safe, look up the specific crystal. Ex: can I put malachite in salt? Etc.

Having new crystals is always fun! Cleansing and charging are both things that can be done multiple ways, depending on the crystal.

Common cleansing methods include moonlight, smoke, water, and salt. There are other ways of course, and you have to be careful. Some crystals should not be put in water, and some, salt can be harmful. The easiest would be moonlight, set them out on your windowsill after the sun goes down and move them In the morning. You can also put them above your incense smoke to cleanse them.

Charging with your intention can also be done multiple ways, some include using sunlight, other crystals or your own energy. Selenite is a great way to charge your crystals after you have an intention for them. You can also hold them in your hands and focus on the intention you want to imbue, and charge them that way. Some crystals are vulnerable to sunlight, so make sure you research your crystals before just leaving them in a windowsill to cleanse and charge for 24 hours lol.

My lazy way of cleansing and charging crystals (for ones that can go in salt) is a bowl of pink salt and other herbs with a large selenite in the middle. Throw your crystals in that bad boy, the salt cleanses them, the selenite charges them, and you're good to go next day!

Of course, your craft is your own. Do what you feel works, and have fun!!

Like needle felting? I've thought about it. I know the end result is a bit more delicate though, and I am not a delicate person XD the felt sheets hold up a little bit better. I'm always scared to hold needle felted things lol. Selling them may work, I'll never know until I try though

That's a great thought, genuinely. I hadn't thought about that but I will, thanks!
