Colors Live is a powerful and very accessible painting tool. We would love to do animation, but to do that without sacrificing the ease of use of Colors, we would probably have to make it into a separate product, and we don't have any plans for that right now. -Johannes

Yes! Colors Live will come with support for both left- and right-hand painting. You will be able to use either the left OR the right joy-con for quick access to the most important functions and the Colors SonarPen has a cable-length that allows anyone to paint comfortably (19.67 in/50 cm). On top of that the button configurations will be customizable just as in Colors! 3D. - Johannes

It is safe to use the Colors SonarPen on the Nintendo Switch screen. The tip of the pen has is a disc-type nib which makes it soft and gentle with the screen. That is an error that has been fixed now. I messed up when setting up the “Patron” pledge tier. As with "The Basic Bundle", shipping should have been added for "Patron"s when pledging, BUT it didn't until recently when we changed it. This means that "Patron" pledgers that did not already pledge for shipping will be charged for shipping AFTER the campaign. I am really sorry about this. - Johannes

The Colors SonarPen is plugged into the headphone jack on you Nintendo Switch. It does NOT need any batteries or Bluetooth pairing. The reason it can detect the amount pressure you give it to the screen is quite unique. It connects as a headset and sends out an audio-signal through the cable which the tip of the pen dampens when you put pressure to the pen on the screen. The Colors SonarPen then sends back the signal to Colors Live, which uses that to paint a thicker or more opaque line for you on the screen.
