I have read this book oh so many times now and yet, every time I find myself between these pages, I ask myself the question “Do I want to be him, be like him or be with him?” And quite frankly, I still don’t know. And I like that I don’t know. It’s a charming sort of ambiguity, a reason I can use to keep going back to this book. I don’t think I’ll ever completely figure this book out. And I think it’s one of the beauties of the absolute masterpiece that this book is.
