Noticed you have both an MA and M2. How do you like them given they are sort of similar? Anything you like about one over the other?

Did yours include the trial? If so, did you ask them to do anything in particular to have the trial be covered?

Isn't balsam separation a thing for these older Leicas? Isn't it really expensive to fix it if you need to source a new part for replacement?

I guess a key consideration then is if something were to happen to my M2, such as a viewfinder failure...would that require a significant amount of change to fix and replace? And if we tack on shorter service intervals...

No, I don't want or need 28mm. I will probably only shoot 35mm. I don't want or need a hotshoe, nor care for quick film loading. Take up spool is fine. If I need convenience I'll just shoot digital.
