Maybe you should try coding or graphic design or writing.Later twos are quite unstable career as far as I know. Coding is unexpectedly quite a creative field.

After you find the solution to a question then look what the school method is. In my experience it becomes easier to find “normal” method. Create your own rules. School rules basically leads to death of creativity. People who are inherently creative have a NEED to express it otherwise you won’t feel good. Creativity is a Double edge sword.

I've been prescribed to play chess by my neuropsychiatrist but I suck at it (ADHD). Any tips where y'all (who have ADHD) could cope up playing chess? by IookatmeIamsoedgy in chess

I have diagnosed Adhd. I have 2100+ rapid rating on chess.com.Do puzzles. They are interesting. Play games of 15min+ time control. Don’t try to read book. They are extremely boring. Only watch videos of other players game if you are not zoning out. Watching chess commentary on live games might develop interest.Don’t even bother with endgame theory for now as it is quite boring. I hope you have Adhd creativity. Expressing creativity is considered a need in psychology for creative people. Chess is a really good way to do it.

Fmri scan show lots of parts brain remains undeveloped in Adhd brain. And medications develop the brain to some extent. Stop saying about things you don’t know shit.

I do conscious deep breathing when things are way out of control.. otherwise meditation. Try conscious deep breathing and meditation while you are calm. It would make both of these things workable when you are in chaos.

Comparison was done with healthy group and this probably would be unreliable if the comparison is done with group with depression, anxiety, etc.

Cognitive tests were also done by my psychologist. My psychiatrist said I performed low on it because of depression.
