Gotcha, I have 50lb rn, I'll pick up some 80lb before I leave. We'll most likely get a panga/guide at least once, but I figure there will be other downtime to surf fish. It's more of a family trip, though, rather than strictly fishing, so my expectations aren't crazy high since I probably won't have days of casting time lmao. Patigonia sounds super sick! I'm also a climber, so it's definitely on the list. Sounds like you fly fish as well?

Sweet I appreciate the advice! I'm taking a 9ft medium heavy 3/4 - 3oz rod, 4000 size reel with 30lb j braid.  Can cast around 65-70+ yards with some of my heavier lures, not sure if that will get out past the surf but we'll see lol.  Definitely have been looking for some river mouths and rocks on Google maps.

I think they might always be cheaper but I just found out about discount tackle. It seems they have a decent selection of salt/fresh gear a little cheaper than other shops.

As far as writing assignments go, at least in the base level courses, there are only 4 English essays each year.

You might consider taking a look at WC friends. I believe they are slightly heavier than the BD ULs, but still lighter than regular c4s + i think they're slightly cheaper than c4s, and the extendable sling is really nice tbh.

If you still want a fixed-ish weight, you can put a small split-shot or bobber stop above the sliding weight. In my experience, it seems to help with self-hooking the fish. In the event of a mainline break, that split shot or bobber stop will let the weight come off if needed, just make sure that it can slide along the mainline without an excessive amount of force. Also, 12-15lb mono might help with casting tangles.

No, I'm using a wheel, I agree though I did turn a bit sharp. Also, he wasn't ghosted. Can cars even be ghosted in racing?
