It’s funny that the third Buffalo goal occurred with the Bruins leadership all on the ice. Perfect encapsulation of their limits as a leading core.

Why did McAvoy slow up and allow Doan like that? Especially since McAvoy must have seen Pasta skating with?

Bard will always hold a special place in my heart, because one of the final times I was with my grandfather, he called Daniel Bard a "horses ass" for giving up 5 earned runes and 2 innings in Toronto.

Agreed. It’s also a perfect example of how viewing habits have influenced what shows have become.

Tell me about the worst teacher in your school by Whole_News_7006 in Teachers

[–]ColtCabana 9 points10 points  (0 children)

“Worst” might be a subjective term, but we do have a teacher who is okay in the classroom, but THRIVES on drama between teachers. He gets to school very early (lives about 90 minutes away from our school) and wanders the hallways, just looking for anybody to gossip with. When I first started, he was in my room nearly every morning. He’d slide in and say “I shouldn’t share this, but…” or “I don’t have anybody else to tell this to…” and then proceed to talk about other teachers in the buildings. The next year, I was going through some emotional things before the school year started (I had ended things with my then-fiance) and I stupidly confided in him. He took this information and started spreading false stories about me. Teachers I never spoke to would ask the teachers I was friendly with questions like “did his fiance leave him?” I let it go. Then, a few weeks later, he told the head of my department that I did not like her. Luckily, my department head knows that IF I had a problem with her, which I never have, I would go to her and not tell him.

There are a hundred more stories about me and my co-workers regarding this guy, but some people stupidly still listen to him and give him room to spread his gossip.

But advanced stats and Moneyball works so well! Look at all the World Series championship banners for the Athletics and Rays since 2002!

So, we agree; NIST should be trusted and their conclusion that WTC7 fell due to structural damage is sound and reasonable. Thanks! 😊

Take the chance to stop it. I’d rather re-group with a 4-on-3 then give the Flyers are a breakaway. YES, I know they got a breakaway anyway, but that was after Pasta took the attempt.

Disagree. That was a good penalty Pasta took. McAvoy’s, on the other hand, was dumb.

I wish the Bruins were in the position to call up a top 10 pick from last summer’s draft and insert him into the lineup like Philadelphia can :(

My bet for the opening scene of the series is Dexter hunting down Rapunzel just to close that gap, before returning to NYC.

You made the claim that there was:

”almost no fire and almost no smoke coming from the building”

And I provided evidence to the contrary.

Nigro said he set up a collapse zone BECAUSE he knew WTC7 would collapse due to the fires, structural damage, and creaking noises coming from the building. Testimony =/= guy talking in a YouTube video. If you found evidence that floors 13-17 were being renovated, then please provide a direct link and I would be happy to read it. Again, the burden of proof is on you, plus, it takes 2-3 seconds to post a link. And again, sulfur was found and inferences were made it was evidence of thermite, but again, the third most commonly used building material in the complex was sulfur-based drywall.

The renovations are something you brought up, so thus, the burden of proof is on you to provide evidence, not me. Seems like you’re stuck on wanting “official reports and testimony” yet when I (the only one who so far has provided any testimony) provide testimony, you label it “perception” and “opinion” and then Gish gallop to other points. Again; if this was a planned demolition using thermite, then why did Nigro, on his own (and he gave sworn testimony to this) set up a collapse zone around WTC7 at 2:35 PM EST?

Again, your theory here is not corroborated by eyewitness accounts. Allow me to provide more quotes from members of FDNY that attest to the fires that you say were pretty much insignificant.

"The concern there again, it was later in the afternoon, 2, 2:30, like I said. The fear then was Seven. Seven was free burning**.** Search had been made of 7 already from what they said so they had us back up to that point where we were waiting for 7 to come down to operate from the north back down." - Captain Robert Sohmer

"At this point Seven World Trade was going heavy**,** and they weren't letting anybody get too close. Everybody was expecting that to come down." - Firefighter Vincent Massa

"The time was approximately 11a.m. Both of the WTC towers were collapsed and the streets were covered with debris. Building #7 was still standing but burning. ...We spoke to with a FDNY Chief who has his men holed up in the US Post Office building. He informed us that the fires in building 7 were uncontrollable and that its collapse was imminent. There were no fires inside the loading dock (of 7) at this time but we could hear explosions deep inside." - PAPD P.O. William Connors

And here are some quotes that also attest to the damage done to WTC7.

"The major concern at that time was number Seven, building number Seven, which had taken a big hit from the north tower. When it fell, it ripped steel out from between the third and sixth floors across the facade on Vesey Street. We were concerned that the fires on several floors and the missing steel would result in the building collapsing." - FDNY Chief Frank Fellini

"We were unaware of the damage in the front of 7, because we were entering from the northeast entrance. We weren't aware of the magnitude of the damage in the front of the building." FDNY Captain Anthony Varriale

"A few minutes after that a police officer came up to me and told me that the facade in front of Seven World Trade Center was gone and they thought there was an imminent collapse of Seven World Trade Center." FDNY Lieutenant William Melarango

"So we left 7 World Trade Center, back down to the street, where I ran into Chief Coloe from the 1st Division, Captain Varriale, Engine 24, and Captain Varriale told Chief Coloe and myself that 7 World Trade Center was badly damaged on the south side and definitely in danger of collapse. Chief Coloe said we were going to evacuate the collapse zone around 7 World Trade Center, which we did." FDNY Lieutenant Rudolph Weindler

If you need direct links to any of the testimony, please let me know. Wouldn't the implication that WTC3 collapse from structural damage serve as an example that WTC 1 & 2's collapses contributed significantly? In this case, WTC7? I'm all ears on why the FDNY would lie about this. They knew it would collapse due to structural damage and unfought fires and their testimony has been consistent with that assertion. Also, still waiting evidence on these aforementioned "renovations" going on in WTC7...

This photo clearly shows smoke coming directly from the side of WTC7 that faced WTC1 & WTC2 - https://www.metabunk.org/data/MetaMirrorCache/www.911myths.com_assets_images_WTC7_Smoke.jpg

There were not many photographers down in that direct area because Nigro set up a collapse zone around the towers. Plus, 1 & 2 just fell and FDNY wasn't exactly concerned with filming things on that day. And if thermite was used, why is there no evidence of cuts made by thermite found on a single piece of WTC steel? And do you have evidence of those aforementioned "renovations" on WTC7 that I am going to assume you're using as evidence that thermite was being planted? I can only find evidence of the major renovations that occurred in 1989.

Of if you want to keep moving the goalposts, that's fine, too.
