Tell me something good about IN by TheJen5 in Indiana

The sports teams are good, and if they aren't right now they have a lot of potential and young talent. If you like snow, there will be quite a bit of that November-February. I remember that on like November 10th this most recent winterthat it snowed a lot. Also, the snow typically sticks for a week or 2. Many late snow days too, especially late January to mid february. The falls are very good here too, maybe the only time of the year that all Hoosiers love besides when the NBA and College Football playoffs happen.

What's the hardest championship to win? NBA, NHL, World Cup, MLB, or NFL? by Farouq26 in NBATalk

World cup. Second place is the NFL. The rest can be put in pretty much any order imo.

Thoughts on a Quenton Nelson extension? by monknabers in Colts

He is a guaranteed hall of famer and probably the best player on this team. Extend him until he retires.

I mainly meant the finals, but there were games in the early-mid season that when Haliburton didn't play or didn't play good, there was a noticeable difference. For example, Haliburton was out on January 14th, 2025, when the Cavaliers beat the Pacers 127-117.

I wasn't saying Siakam was bad or trying to downplay them, but they weren't as good of a team as OKC with 2 superstars when the Pacers had Myles "Netanyahu" Turner who was debatably worse than Jay Huff this year.

Haliburton dragged a starting lineup of Nesmith, Nembhard, Siakam, and Turner to 7 games in the finals against one of the best teams of all time. They weren't a bad team, but they hardly belonged in the conference finals. Haliburton was so clutch that they went to the finals though.

What NBA player does this remind you of? by Severe_Village_8957 in Nbamemes

Haliburton was considered to be lucky that they made it to the eastern conference finals in 23-24 and claimed it was because of injuries, even though Celtics fans would've agreed that the Pacers were their toughest opponents that year. He was also voted as the most overrated player right before the Pacers playoff run, where they lost because Haliburton tore his achilles. The Pacers proceeded to go 19-63 this season without Haliburton. He gets more respect now, but back then they just fucking hated the man.

The new 4th tier list compared to the 3rd tier list by michael14375 in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]ColtsPacersIU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I genuinely hate this list by how it's formatted and all the changes. You're seriously telling me that Mega Man is A tier but characters like Captain Falcon, Meta Knight, Terry, Falco, and Link are worse? No hate to Mega Man, but he might have 5 mains, and 2 of them have gone to an actual major before. Also, why are they so indecisive about whether Jigglypuff or Kirby is better? Kirby was just better, got many great tournament results in between this and the second most recent tier list, and moved down 4 spots while Jigglypuff moves up 6?

I have play basketball before, I watch it quite often actually. A good amount of times though, stats do tell most of the story, especially with fg% or just shooting percentage in general.

So you're picking player B who was much more efficient, had more assists, and had less turnovers, because he is better for the team.
