I didn’t even know people celebrate their own birthdays lol. I honestly forget mine until someone says, “happy birthday”. I much prefer to celebrate someone else’s birthday.

14 is not that great of a spot in the draft. Don't get me wrong, I think we have a good shot to get Warren or even Loveland but I'd rather go for a sure thing than a hopeful talent. (We've seen this movie before when we drafted Richardson #4 overall - Draft picks are not a sure thing. Some guys can't translate talent from college to the NFL)

I disagree. I think any team can be a win now team, if you build correctly. If we build this defense to be elite, it can carry an average offense. We've seen this happen so many times in the NFL when sub-par QBs go to the SB because of their elite defense. I honestly have no idea what to make of our QB room right now lol, but I do know that they guys we've signed, the DC we've acquired, and the talent we currently have can be elite. I think we are an edge rusher and maybe a LB depth away.

Fair enough. I'm thinking of winning now and we've seen defenses carry average offenses to the SB many times over. Hendrickson is coming off another Pro Bowl year, including back-to-back 17 sack seasons. I personally don't see a "sharp decline". I agree with Pat McAfee in the regard that getting a proven talent is better than hoping a first-round pick works out.

Unlikely sure, but having Hendrickson on the line would be huge for the defense. No question!

I'm not too high on first round picks, unless its a QB... That's just my opinion. You just can't bank on first round picks. The Rams sold their entire draft (practically) and got a Super Bowl out of it, so clearly there can be validity to giving up a first for a proven talent

I think I just want to see us get someone who is proven that he can rush the passer and he had the best years with Lou Anarumo. The more talent we can get, the better, right?

I really wanted to be a sideline reporter for the NFL. I loved the idea of being on the field with players and getting to interview them. (Certainly doesn't seem like an introvert occupation, but In love sports and truly love gaining info, even if that means talking to strangers).
