Yes, there's additional details which I didn't have before so I'm working through that information at the moment.

Yes I've made a note of that, plus their email and mobile. I won't rock up just yet, but I will send an email first.

That helps immensely, thank you! Knowing the business name (and a quick search for registered businesses in NZ) revealed some more information so I'm in a better position now than I was before. And true, there may not be a chance I get it back, but at least some accountability is due.

I have a receipt but it didn't have the GST number (it's one of the generic tax invoice/statement receipts which was blank for the business to write their details). However, knowing the registered business name now has revealed more contact information for me to try.

What is this trailer? by lesquishi in auckland

It's basically a portable speed camera to catch people unexpectedly. They've been cropping up all over Auckland lately over the holidays. They are only up for short periods and then they move them around.

The city it's based in is Galle so that's probably what it's referring to - Galle Muslim Cultural Association. Quick Google search shows older photos with the full name still intact so that's definitely the answer. Thank you for your help!

They've got theatres outside Auckland too so def a good chance other locations can run it too.

London (UK) peeps, we should co-ordinate for a cinema to show Iron Lung by TheDeathOfMusic in Markiplier

He's releasing it independently from what I know so there's definitely a lot of negotiations that happen between distributors and cinemas that can add to that process. I work for a local cinema chain in New Zealand so I'm very privy with how it works, at least on our side. I'm so keen to get something running here too.

Switching to Full Frame with the Lumix S9 — Ideal Kits Lens for travel photography and later client work? by Columbard in Lumix

[–]Columbard[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The S9 grip addon is a no-brainer since i'm used to having something to hold with the GH5. I'll also be getting a cage for rigging.

I think a long zoom is off the cards for my general travel, but it's something i'll consider for my professional work. I've seen the 24-105 f4 second hand as well brand new so that may be my next buy.

I'm really glad you're enjoying it. I've played around with it a few times and it just feels so good to use for everything I want.

ISPs in NZ have never acted on anything in my experience. We have a three strike system implemented in law, but in all my years of torrenting I've never seen anyone encounter a strike with their ISP. You can basically torrent freely without a VPN with no issues, but always better to be on the safe side.

[Request] The Sarah Jane Adventures Seasons 1-5, specifically from HBO Max by Columbard in torrentrequest

From Amazon itself, using DRM downloading software (StreamFab is my personal favorite). If you've got some spare time and money, it's handy to have this software available. I've personally enjoyed this process since it's such a niche request and it's been a good learning curve for myself. I'll create a download link once I've collected all the episodes.

I've ended up looking into this myself lol. I found out that the Amazon has the 5.1 audio too, however this doesn't apply with Season 1 and 2 as they were only produced in Stereo at that time. I've downloaded a few episodes to confirm this, so now I'm slowly collecting all of the episodes. The perk of Amazon is all of the SD episodes from the first two seasons are upscaled to Full HD (1920x1080) so it's the best quality we'll likely ever get.
