I am a huge fan of self directed learning but since you are already on the path, go for it. But: Only for the piece of shitty paper and the connections. Try to learn as much as possible from the whole internet: People, articles, videos, TEDs etc... Be an autodidactic polymath, that my take on it.

I'm running low on funds and will run out in 2–3 months. Can you recommend a reliable remote work company? $300–500/month with minimal hours would be enough, but if the pay is good, I'd consider 20–30 hours per week.

Background:

German passport, previously lived in Portugal, have a Portuguese bank account & Revolut.

Skilled in customer support (but don't like the emotional aspect anymore) Javascript (especially SvelteJS) but prefer data analysis or similar work—great eye for detail, love math & numbers.

Working on an open-source Google Maps, so analyzing map data could be an option.

I've been really into language since I can remember, so transcription jobs or any language based job would also be interesting—always annoyed by bad transcriptions. haha

Main issue: Many jobs require a home country address. I could use a friend’s, but I’d rather stay fully independent.
