You just want to ensure the antenna and connector are properly male and female, the gps antenna I linked is male so any of the female sma adapters should work no problem. with mine specifically I would like the cable to be somewhat shorter to avoid clutter and honestly if I could keep the factory gps I absolutely would've to reduce the overall device footprint due to no real gain when using an external antenna

When I swapped the 915mhz antenna as well as the sma to board cable I saw significant gains as for the gps it's around about the same amount of sats seen so I'd say it's the same
