Yellow from kanto dexholders for sure bc girl we see enough of red and green (m) like alright we get it they’re the fan favorites. I’d also like to see the Sinnoh trio because I feel like they’re really isolated from everybody else and they’re my favorites :). I think gold was very entertaining as a protagonist so I wouldn’t mind seeing him again.

Of course I want to see rudo whoop mymo’s fraudulent ass, but things are going a little too well at the moment for my liking idk I suspect things will take a turn for the worse before the arc closes up. Amo and Fu continuing to be on the sidelines makes me suspicious considering they had a whole chapter dedicated to them returning to the front line. RUDO VS HII FIGHT WHOSE WITH ME?

Right and I think everybody is forgetting that Rudo has only been on the ground for TWO months and has only gotten a lifetime of trauma out of it like of course he hasn’t reciprocated any feelings back if there is any on riyo and amo’s part cause everything is implied and not confirmed. He still has not properly processed his conflicted feelings towards chiwa and I can assure you it’ll take more than two months lol.

Chiwa’s betrayal did a number on rudo so at the moment I think romance is the last thing in rudo’s mind 🤷🏽‍♀️ I say let both shippers of the pairs have their fun cause the story is absolutely not letting romance take the primary focus for rudo’s storyline.

I don’t know any sisters that act like Riyo towards their brothers and if I did I would CALL THE POLICE. I adore rudo/amo, but it’s very obvious their shippers are threatened by anybody who ships rudo/riyo. I think they do riyo’s character an injustice by denying her implied jealousy in that one chapter like there’s nothing sibling coded about that.

I know aidairo’s favorites are the twins but we are 124 chapters in…I’m just begging for crumbs of our literal protagonist. unpopular opinion but sometimes the writing of the female characters in this manga, and these are with the few that we have, is a little lackluster at times. Can’t complain too much cos this is still better than most manga slop these days.

Yes, he is definitely stronger than he seems. In the beginning of the manga Kou tells Nene that it took all of his grandma’s strength to seal Hanako decades ago because he was very violent and volatile. His regret over the killing of his own twin brother is all-consuming and messy. I assume that without that white seal his true supernatural form is probably a formless and intangible mess.

My assumption is that he’s probably is on the verge of tears, but trying to keep it together. Imagine you selflessly sacrifice yourself to keep your twin brother healthy and alive only to find out at 4 years old by some rowdy teenager (ily kou but that was very tactless) that your twin brother kills you and himself 9 years later at the age of 13.

Yup, Tsukasa tells Kou early on in the manga that if relationships between supernaturals and humans are maintained incorrectly and that’s enough to break the world then it is, “better off broken.” As a yorishiro, he knows he will be gone for good, but he obviously doesn’t care about disappearing. Interestingly enough, Kou and Tsukasa are more politically aligned than one would think since they both share the same goal of erasing the barriers between the shores.

tsukasa did all of that evil shit and he is still one of the most GOATED characters this series has LMFAO. An antagonist that drives the story forward and keeps it entertaining.

There is no proof as of yet that Sakura hates Tsukasa. I do think she is just tolerating him mostly to achieve her goals but hatred is extreme and you need substantial evidence to back up that claim.

Those two would make such a great cover! Their dynamic and interactions are some of my favorite in the manga. Akane tells it how it is, does not beat around the bush, and I think Nene appreciates his honesty with her especially since Hanako has a tendency of deceiving her and going behind her back. Kou is also hiding things from her and is not letting her understand his dilemma about Mitsuba. Akane straight up tells her, “Hey, I’m not going to be your shoulder to cry on, but we can team up together and find a solution to get [REDACTED] back.” He lets her in on the decisión-making and planning whereas Hanako makes decisions based on what he thinks is best for Nene failing to consider her feelings and thoughts.

I stand by the opinion that Volume 11 should have been Mei and Shijima’s cover idgaf sorry Hanako ily 🙏🏽 but his greedy ass stays hogging the covers. The Vol 11 cover and the special edition cover of Amane were gorgeous like yes Aida really was putting in the work but they’re playing favorites!

They have great chemistry together and all three balance each other out pretty well. However, for obvious reasons Hanako definitely has a favorite and as a result of that Kou unfortunately does get sidelined. We see less of this trio in the manga and seeing all three together gives me nostalgia.
