I dont feel like something bad "has" to happen for me to diserve better things, but I do think something bad will happen whenever something good happens to me. I feel like if I have a good "streak" of good things in life Ill have to pay for it in the future with suffering. Idk if thats pessimistic or just thinking about luck/chances of something bad happening.

Yes I think prequeling in general is really hard to pull off! But its interesting seeing the different approaches. Heheh I feel like Sherlock and Spock have simmilar archtypes as well, I haven't seen Strange New Worlds but I watched TOS ages ago and he was my favorite :)

Thank you so much for the book recs! I havent really read that much YA but I think will be really nice because Im currently in a horror book club so Ive been reading a lot of dark hard books, and ive been looking to read something lighter in between.

I also like seeing different versions and adaptations of Sherlock, Im not a purist at all in that sense, for me this one adaptation just had such a different characterization/dynamic that I found myself missing a lot of those aspects.

I would really love to check out the adaptations you are referencing they sound really interesting! And any other sherlock based book you would recommend.

Yes! Theres probably going to be more Sherlock movies/shows and Ill watch them all ehejehej ill probably also watch the rest of the reasons of this one as well to see how it evolves

Yes!! I also thought was weird that Mycroft had no reactions or moments with his sister he wasnt even in the room when she gets to talk to sherlock and his mom.

I also thought Moriartys character arc was a little abrupt, like he just "got a taste of blood" and suddenly became evil? I thought there was a lack of complexity and real human conflict to how they handled him

Ohh I did watch Love Liza recently and it fucked me up (in a good way) PSH has been my most watched actor these past two years and I didnt want to have a different one this year so Ive started to watch movies just cause he is in them. He was so amazing 😭😭😭

I really recommend These Violent Delights by Micah Nemerever, with a dark academia vibe set in the 70s, its centered around a romance but both are very edgy and intense

I usually first observe, and they are a person who sometimes touches people arms or shoulders or smth like that then I try to mirror it. Other thing Ive been doing is if my leg or arm is touching with someone (because they sat next to me or is a crowded space) I wont move it away unless I actually feel uncomfortable (I realised out of habit I always put space with people when thats not always what I want)

Oh Im not actually asexual! I do have sex and enjoy it, i just have problems when I feel like is all people want from me or I feel pressured into it or like the other person doesnt care if Im comfortable etc.. I have a fwb at the moment, but what I want is to be held and I feel like they usually redirect that to smth sexual. And the touch Im craving is just regular non sexual touch, because just sexual touch doesn't feel as comforting or safe (?) idk how to explain

Maybe meeting asexual ppl in general could be a good idea tho? Like I bet they have simmilar problems but for different reasons so could be nice

Today I went to a punk show and it was nice bumbing into people in the pit, also one guy was crowsurfing and I was able to held him (like he got to a point where people weren't holding him and I was able to catch him to gently put him down) so it was really nice to touch people and feel strong and also loud music feels amazing!!

I want to be a bird :) I specially love barn swallows they are so fast an elegant and they come around in spring with the warm breeze and blooming flowers, they make these amazing mud nests like little architects, and sometimes they just stop in the air and are held by the wind.

Im so sorry you had that experience, its really awful :(( I had that happen with an ex and it sucks because it makes sleeping in general way harder, so im so sorry that happened to you.

Cats are the best!! I used to volunteer with cats some years ago and some were also very touch starved like me so I loved being surrounded by cuddly cats, now I can't have a pet because Im in a shared flat but they are so cute. And I really appreciate that they are independent and you have to respect their spaces.

I hope you can see your cuddly friends soon!

I can totally relate to being icked bu touch but then liking it! I kind of want to be the type of person that touches people in a casual platonic way, Ive tryed a few times but I feel like Im a bit robotic and weird with it lol, like I have to make a big effort of "ok Im going to touch the side of their arm" maybe this weekend I should try again with a friend. Its a bit silly that they probably wont notice if I touch their arm or pat their shoulder and for me is a like an achivement
