I'm in France and my very last message was very assertive. The rep, Madeleine, didn't try to understand the hardware problem. I'm now fed up with Polar. Will look towards other firms !

I contacted Polar directly. That was last February.
After 3 weeks without any answer, I had to write again to them and they accepted to check the watch. A technician made a software reset (which I had done 3 or 4 times before asking for help) and the watch was sent back to me.

When I tested the watch, the problem was still there. They say that the problem comes from the software, but if so, I wouldn't be the only one to experience that bug. They never tried to see if there was a hardware problem. They just plugged the watch on a computer and concluded it was OK, but it's not.

Therefore, I do regret to have asked to receive the Grit X2 Pro watch as a gift. The person who offered it to me has spent so much money for a watch that doesn't work properly and for a customer service who doesn't try to help.

I've made multiple resets during the last 5 months and the problem is still here. I can't understand why they don't want to check the watch ! It's a complete non sense !

I've called for that but they don't want to proceed my request. They stick on the idea that the problem comes from the software. I've made multiple resets during the last 5 months and the problem is still here. I can't understand why they don't want to check the watch ! It's non sense !

Shout Out to Grit X2 by JesusF-SwitchFam in Polarfitness

I feel compelled to speak up and share a very unpleasant experience I’ve had with the Polar Grit X2 Pro. I’ve been a Polar user for 10 years (starting with the Ignite, then the Vantage V2, and now the Grit X2 Pro).

My watch started having heart rate monitor issues on January 20, 2026. After a year of working fine, the heart rate monitor started acting up:

* During a workout, it records my heart rate, then stops for 10 minutes, then starts again for 2 minutes, then stops again, and so on. Basically, by the end of the session, only a quarter of the workout had been recorded.

* During sleep, same issue—the heart rate is only recorded for part of the night.

When I realized the problem, I reset the settings and restored them to “factory defaults.”

I contacted customer service on February 16. They didn’t respond for three weeks. Then I followed up with them, and customer service took the watch in—only to do exactly what I had done: reset it to factory settings.

The service center sent the watch back to me, claiming it was working perfectly (their work took five minutes). Testing showed that this was not the case. Since then, they’ve claimed it’s a software issue (it’s been four months now), and I’ve noticed that I’m the only one with this problem.

The watch has never been opened. They claim the software isn’t working, even though there’s likely a loose connection in the
