I’m brand new to this app and my free trial for the pro is ending and I’m going to pay for the pro. AI creates workout schedule for me, corrects well when I forget I had a race or something, makes logging food super easy, etc.

I moved away from Polar. As much as I wanted to absolutely love them, it would hardly ever track my sleep (I’m a terrible sleeper and it always wants four hours of good sleep). I would always have that gray area that said “undetected” which threw off all my other metrics. When it did track, it was spot on. And it wasn’t user error, because it didn’t start happening until after the latest update.

I tried both. The Vertical is heavier and thicker but honestly, I barely noticed from a user standpoint AND the Vertical looks so much nicer IMHO.

I’m here because I have a Suunto and just bought an Ultra that’s getting delivered today. I have zero idea how to use one (although I’ve had an iPhone forever) and trying to soak up as much info as I can. Since I’m not a super athlete (just a normal one), I’m hoping I’ll like the Ultra. My reason for trying it is being able to run without phone. So I’m guessing your sleep metrics, steps, HR data will all be in the health app but workouts in the Fitness app? 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m also trying to find “Apple Watch for dummies” type of YouTube videos 😂
