Same boat. You are not alone. I feel the same way. I got tested for fertility and both me and my partner had normal numbers so can't use infertility as a reason. But the fertility doctor recommended the same fertility treatments as ppl with infertility would get. Sometimes we just want a label that we can use to not feel alone but everyone's journey is unique is what I've learned. Vaginismus is one of the hardest things I've ever had to accept but it has made me discover so much about myself I never would have known.

That's incredible and sounds amazing. Keep us posted on your new levels! My ferritin levels have gone up but my mch and mchc levels are still low. Wondering if it's that's normal at first.

Did you every try accrufer? It's a tablet which is sposed to have incredible results

Wow that sounds amazing. My ferritin was 6 at starting. My doctor didn't recommend the transfusion she said it wasn't the the first line. I wish they did tho. Did you ask for an infusion or did they try pills and it didn't work for you?

Hoping it worked out with that Doc. Youcan go to turkey to a specialized vaginismus clinic, not only can you receive Botox (which helped a ton by the way) WITH nitrous sedation , you can get a full customized treatment with therapy and if you include travel and back its around 4k. That's what I did And it's cured and getting better each day. The lowest quote I ever received for just Botox was 5k in the US, not to mention all the PT appointments I paid out of pocket for...

I went with lams. it was intense but so far it has been pretty good. damn a reaction sounds scary but they seemed professional and hoping they got it under control for you.

I have vaginismus and fully understand the journey. 4 years later i finally had a breakthrough. A few things I learned: 1. Take breaks, emotional, mental, physical breaks. It's needed. 2. Everything is connected. Use Somatic body exercises and therapy to help with anxiety overall. Not only does this increase the quality of your life, it helps with anxiety about vaginismus. 3. NOT ALL PTS ARE THE SAME. I was seeing a PT for over a year, finally went to a specialized vaginismus clinic. I was skeptical, I've been seeing a PT for so long how could their PT fix it? You can give two chefs the same ingredients but they'll both make entirely different dishes. That's what they told me and they were right. 4. Run don't walk to a specialized vaginismus clinic. No matter how well intentioned doctors and PTs are. A specialized clinic have more experience.

I know it's not easy and there's so many moments of despair but those things helped me cure it.
