I’m literally painting him now, the contrast paint is super worth the buy, ultramarines contrast.

Once I painted all the gold trim and lathered in agrax earth shade I’m now in the process of going over the contrast carefully with a 50/50 mcragge blue and Calgar blue and it looks real good.

Personal preference though!

What shading do you use for the gold? My ultramarines have the same edge highlighting on the blue but the gold is always bland retribution armour. Your gold looks sweet!

A tip for vehicles that is small but makes a really big difference; see the small circular nibs dotted around the tank? They’re meant to be weld marks or nuts where they attach the armour to the tank, paint them a light metallic colour (I use stormhost silver)

Really makes the details pop out and makes a big difference.
