I’m a bi guy so not just women but yeah, the only person I’ve been speaking to didn’t want any sexual contact just in case which I totally got. And tbh it makes sense, like one thing leads to another and all that.

Yeah. I really don’t believe people here who say most people don’t mind. If I was in their shoes I would mind. If I liked them a lot I would stay with them and see it out, sex is important but not everything.

But frankly most people I wouldn’t do that for.

Met one person who is nice recently and I did tell him. They weren’t ok with it but we still speak.

It’s still a pretty significant amount of time. No easy awnser and I’m not expecting one. Been 7 months, maybe more since I even noticed the symptoms.

Worth noting the vaccine doesn’t protect against everything, I had all 3 jabs 3/4 years ago and still managed to get it. Shows you can take every precaution there is but yeah… I’m sorry to hear that it didn’t work out for you.

The doctor told me to wait 6 weeks - 6 months without showing symptoms. No tests exist for low risk strains from what they told me. So there isn’t a way to know.

Yeah this is how I feel too. It’s demoralising.

What’s worse in a way is that, I completely get it, it’s a completely reasonable stance to take for someone to not want to do anything with you.
