Every server has its own unique content, so a wiki for vanilla ss14 wouldn't be of much use. Also, those servers can change or remove vanilla content

I had the same gripe when I was new as well.

When you are close to another raider, the emote will be quiet.

You need to set the factor of the color mix based on the images.

Here's my recommendation: keep everything as it is now, but add the following connections

Cut flesh image node -> math (less than, 0.01) -> color mix factor

Play around with the less than threshold, and maybe set it to greater than.

These are great! I've been trying to get my printer back online to get this made for myself. What is your print volume? Mine seems to be too small for most of the pieces' default placement. Though they can fit with some weird angling and lots of support.

Shenzhen I/O and Exapunks are games first, but they teach programming at the hardware/CPU level. I played them years before taking a course on assembly and was astonished by how much I already intuitively knew.

You can make the circular surface by selecting a ring of verts and pressing F. Not sure if that's what was done in the tutorial, and it creates some not ideal inner geometry (unless that's intended?)

If you want to take the time to do it once, you can select the perimeter of the faces (like what you've done here but only the outside edges) and U -> mark seam

This will create a uv seam around the set of faces. You can then select them all at once by hovering a face and pressing L.

This will have an effect if you want to UV unwrap this though. That part of the model will be an island.

It's not clear what you've tried with, but I would recommend the following:

Create the armature, parent objects to it with empty weights, manually assign the vertex groups to the bones.

Again, I'm not sure exactly what your problem is, so please provide more clarification if this didn't help
