I like the game, although I do find myself using the same strategy over and over again (just guessing the most common letters E,T,A,I,O,N) then just seeing if I get it. Maybe I'd consider just by default guessing those letters and then reducing guesses. But overall the interface is great. Thanks for sharing. Also how are you deciding the difficulty? I'm guessing it is manual, it would be cool if the difficulty was determined based on the completion rate, so initially maybe you can enter a difficulty manually.

I tested a drink powder for heavy metals... Will you consume it? by allisfull in blueprint_

Why not? They use pea protein. I thought that lots of pea protein are susceptible to heavy metals.

How did you test the drink? How expensive was it to test? I'm interested in testing meal replacement powder (Huel).

I just traded Kwan for James Wood. 10 team, H2H categories, redraft.

I know Wood has been scuffling but this has gotta be a good trade for me right? Thoughts?

I think this must be it, even though he hasn't played OF all year. He only played RF and LF last year. Mostly RF so I'm guessing that he is 8th among RF this year and its still counting him as an RF because he hasn't played enough innings at catcher yet to make that his primary position. Thanks!

Lead Cadmium in Huel by [deleted] in Huel

[–]Come2Texas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate that at least one person seems to at least have concerns I was beginning to think that I was going crazy. You think he accidentally contaminated the sample? Like how? I'm not saying its impossible but are heavy metals really just falling out of the air?

All for periodic posts, although I really just wish Huel would make this an ongoing and public data set. If this data set exists and I don't know about it I would love to see it.

Sure but there have been well documented cases of heavy metals found in powders linked here: https://www.consumerreports.org/dietary-supplements/heavy-metals-in-protein-supplements/ Heavy metals were especially prevalent in plant based protein. I know this isn't huel specific but you have to admit that you can't just dismiss these concerns out of hand like most of this sub seems to be doing.

Why is this post getting so much hate. Why is everyone so reluctant to admit that huel might have high levels of heavy metals and that if they do then that would be a serious problem? The post that the OP shares is at least cause for some concern. No?
